Personal Information

Alice has lived through many wars, all started by humans. She has lost much family over the years and may never forgive the violence of humans. She considers much of the violence in vampires, especially the younger ones, to be trauma that hopefully they can one day overcome. But as many vampires become static within themselves, she recognised the need in herself to continually change things to keep herself from becoming a walking corpse.

Appearance

Alice is best described as plain. She's English through and through. Her long brown hair, blue eyes, average build made her somewhat forgettable in life. Though Ventrue blood changed that in death.

Personality

Alice tries to be kind and helpful to all the kindred in her life. She knows she is quick to judge though and tries hard to instead commit those thoughts to paper instead of allowing them to drive her actions. She used to resent being pushed around but as time has mellowed that part of her personality, she has recognised that sometimes the kindred around her need to flex. She can be very patient with them and forgiving.

This is in stark contrast to research though, where people become subjects and she maintains a detachment from their plight and their humanity. She becomes an observer, once she has set in motion her experiment and no amount of begging or pleading will get her to interrupt what she has already committed to doing.

Mortal World

While Alice has involved herself in human society in the past, this time she wanted to do things differently. She has been entirely engrossed in kindred society and has not involved herself in human affairs much except to get them to do what she wants.

Circus Nox

In the Circus Nox she is known as an occasional entertainer "Alice is coming to town? Great book her to play some songs" and for those with a memory long enough, a maister at the sword and is happy to teach people how to use it.

Ordo Dracul

In the Ordo Dracul, she is well regarded in the London sanctum and academy. She is known to have fought in several wars to protect Ordo Dracul secrets and is Sworn of the Axe. She is happy to help others with their work and is good at keeping things running. Her dedication to the Ordo Dracul is without question. For those outside of London, it would not be difficult to get in information on who she is to the dragons. Her career has taken an unexpected turn with her sudden departure to Canberra.

18th Century
- 1754 Born in London
- 1771 Met Argyle Sorrow, a handsome foreigner who showed her kindness and a world beyond rags and torment
- 1772 Embraced by her sire Argyle Sorrow and began traveling with him across Europe
- 1776 Murdered her former sword maister in an act of revenge
- 1782 Released by her sire. Her sire travels to India and she tries to find her way in the world by herself again
- 1785 Moved to Valencia, Spain to learn the martial art La Verdadera Destreza from Maestro Don Mateo Francisco y Lasierra de Valencia
- 1785 Joins the Ordo Dracul officially
- 1792 Earns the title Maestro of the Sword. Met her lover Ton Diego Ortiz. Learnt her first Coil of Ascension.
19th Century
- 1808 Fled with Ton as the French invaded Spain and the war made it all the way to Valencia. Encountered a Strix and fought with her fellow Ordo Dracul to defend a sanctum from it. They failed. The Strix killed Ton to teach her a lesson for trying to get in its way. In despair, Alice fell into Torpor.
- 1814 Alice awakens from Torpor and returns to London, Spain no longer holding her heart.
- 1826 Alice and her coterie fight a powerful dhampir serial killer. While victorious, Alice was the only survivor and succumbed to her wounds and fell in to torpor.
- 1831 Alice awakens in an Ordo Dracul strong hold. She becomes a Dragons Nest hunter.
- 1835 Alice meets Heidi, a talented musician who frequents the Circus Nox. Heidi becomes infatuated with Alice and Alice embraces her.
- 1836 Heidi cannot live the kindred life and ends herself in the embrace of the sun as Alice watched. Alice falls in to despair and torpor.
- 1858 Alice is invited to join Sworn of the Ax for her past acts of valour for the Ordo Dracul. Alice moves to the USA for a change of scenery. There she finds some descendants living on a farm and stalks them while helping set up an Insurance Company.
- 1861 The American Civil War reaches Ohio and Alice joins the underground movement to free slaves to the north. In a battle defending her descendants farm, she kills numerous union soldiers but loses her family there and takes considerable wounds that send her to torpor.
- 1892 Alice sick of America and its sorrow, moved back to London. She tries to embed herself in to human society and takes up a mortal job using her skills to investigate fraud. This allows her to work at odd hours. In her spare time though, she starts playing the guitar in the Circus Nox, a skill she picked up from Heidi.
20th Century
- 1914 The Great War erupts across Europe. Alice is enlisted to make her way across Europe aiding Ordo Dracul in protecting or moving their sanctums and secrets.
- 1918 Peace. Alice found solace with her descendants and those that were lost in the war. She frequently visited one home in particular in the evening to pretend to enjoy food with them and talk about their people. This felt like having family again and they accepted that she was a forgotten cousin.
- 1939 World War 2. Alice found herself in a position to command Ordo Dracul units in Europe doing the very job she did in the Great War. Much of her time was spent in London though.
- 1940 The Blitz. Alice loses her family as the Nazi campaign of Blitz bombed parts of London unexpectedly. No one was prepared for it. Alice ventured out in to the night to try and help and got caught up in one of the blasts too. She stumbled her way back to Ordo Dracul head quarters for the war efforts, but fell to torpor upon arrival.
- 1978 Alice recognises she has a pattern. She digs herself in to work, finds some kind of family.. then loses them and herself. She tries to keep herself detached from humanity.
21st Century
- 2019 Alice is summoned by her sire to Canberra
