Personal Information
Brought up in Scotland on the coast, as the youngest girl in a noble family with 7 boys and 2 girls, missed most of her courtly studies because she kept sneaking off to play and learn from the soldiers who nicknamed her Raven as she would play tricks on them by quietly dropping out of trees and off ship masts to land behind them and ‘Ra’ at them loudly to make them jump then quickly move out of the way again and disappear, leaving only trickling, bubbling laughter and a breeze as she leaves. Climbs and perches like a raven. Befriends and uses ravens for bushcraft ie. Warnings of danger, intruders and searching.
Aged 12 had first of 5 children (arranged marriage at 10 to a comfortable existence with another noble family, Husband was distant and had a mistress whom he loved but couldn’t marry due to the mistresses low status) all died by the time she was 18. Of her children 3 died- childhood disease, 1 baby pulled from her arms by raiding soldiers, the last child and husband disappeared in the middle of the night, no trace.
At age 18 she made her home as an elusive hermit in the forests, abandoning civilisation feeling betrayed and maddened by humanity.
Aged 21 (after 3 years of wandering in the wilderness, avoiding people mourning, depressed, going through bouts of insanity) She had an encounter/epiphany/religious vision giving her purpose and emerged to seek purpose as a mercenary, giving all the money she earned to chapels, orphanages, poor villagers and any other cause she saw as worthy and needing.
Saw a vampire group massacre a village for festivity and the horror/mess left behind was apocalyptic. She tried to save some children and was attacked and left in a ditch almost dead when a gangrel who had been watching her intervened and embraced her.
