Laws of the City
The First Tradition: The Masquerade
Do not reveal your true nature to those not of the Blood. Doing so forfeits you your claim to the Blood.
The Second Tradition: Progeny
Sire another at the peril of both yourself and your progeny. If you create a Childe, the weight is your own to bear.
The Third Tradition: The Amaranth
You are forbidden from devouring the heartsblood of another of your kind. If you violate this commandment, the Beast calls to your own Blood.
The Fourth Tradition: Elysium
Elysium is considered neutral territory for all kindred regardless of standing. The Elysium of Adelaide is considered a fourth tradition Elysium, and the Laws of Elysium are held true.
Final Death
The Right of Destruction is retained by the Praxis. None shall bring Final Death to Acknowledged Kindred without the explicit prior permission of the Praxis Council.
Territory
All Territory held is done so at the consent of the Praxis. Territory Holders will be responsible for the upholding of City Laws within their Territory. Any extra Laws imposed by Territory Holders must not contravene City Laws. Individual Territory claims are considered by the Praxis Council on a case by case basis. All Territories must be clearly demarcated on maps held by the Praxis Council, and will be freely available for all Acknowledged Kindred to access.
Acknowledgement
New Acknowledgements within the City must be vouched for by a member of the Court in good standing. It is the responsibility of this Kindred to educate the newly Acknowledged on the City Laws and ensure they have been updated on all Security Announcements. Breaches of City Law within the first month of Acknowledgement will be considered a Sin against the City for the one that vouched for the newly Acknowledged, in addition to any punishments handed down to the offending kindred.
Guests
All Guests must be made known to the Praxis Council. The crimes of the Guest are considered the crimes of the Host
The Praxis Council has final word on all matters pertaining to City Law
Elysium
The traditional Elysium of Adelaide is the Adelaide City Town Hall. This colonial-era building has been modernised with lighting, air conditioning and double-glazing, but retains it's old-school appearance. It has also managed to escape the upward trend of buildings in the CBD and is dwarfed by the towers of glass and steel around it.
Laws of Elysium
Blatantly adapted from Brisbane's Wiki
1. Elysium is neutral territory for all Kindred, regardless of Clan, Covenant, Faith or Standing.
1.1 Hindering a Kindred's entry or exit, or forcing their entry or exit, is considered an attack on that Kindred.
2. Violence of any kind against another Kindred is expressly forbidden and is considered a Sin against the City, punishable by the Master of Elysium or the Prince.
3. The location of Elysium is to be protected. Endangering the Masquerade or drawing undue attention in, at, on the way to or from Elysium is a Sin against the City.
4. The carrying of weapons is permitted but:
4.1 The laws of the Kine must not be seen to be broken, as doing so draws undue attention to Elysium.
4.2 If the Laws of Elysium are breached with a weapon brought to the location, the breach will be deemed as premeditated.
5. The use of Discipline, Ritual or Devotion without the express consent of the target is considered an attack on that Kindred.
5.1 This extends to powers and abilities implied but not explicitly listed in the Laws of Elysium
6. The Master of Elysium has the final word on what is acceptable at Elysium
