Personal Information

Ariana Trentworth was a pretty simple girl. Studying to be a scientist, she was quite care free and enjoyed life. Her embrace was a very awkward time for her as she was working late on her final project at uni when she was suddenly jumped in the street, dragged to a parking lot, and embraced behind a bin while surrounded by stolen shelter animals. The best thing about her embrace was that she was sent home with a pure black cat which she named くろねこさん(Mr Black Cat). After her first night at Court, Ariana was moved to the Daeva haven by Archived-Judith Doulton in order to keep her away from accidentally hurting her human flat mates. She currently resides in the haven quite happily with her cat, taking particular care not to explore too much for fear of annoying Archived-Lorenzo Penthièvre. He knows she's there.

Her endeavours to understand the Kindred condition has led to a severe depletion in the pigeon populations around various areas Adelaide and the progressively outer suburbs. Her first experiments at testing the limits of blood and how far it can be changed proved to be that you can't do much before you can't eat it. This was only pigeon blood however, and she has plans to move onto other species of creature to see if there are differences depending on species and blood composition. Her next experiments involve testing what components of electromagnetic radiation cause physical harm to Kindred, she is assembling a small team of Adelaide Court Kindred to assist her to make sure she does not accidentally die. Most are suspiciously eager to help.

Appearance

Ariana is an average sized girl. She has dark brown hair that reaches just below her shoulders and tends to sweep her bangs to sit over her glasses, in a fit of nervousness that she plays she will often fiddle with her hair. To Court she usually wears an old leather jacket, a flannel shirt, a tank top, track pants, and a red ribbon tied in a bow around her neck. Since her embrace she became very conscious about her body so tends to cover it a lot more than she did as a human. Due to the events of her embrace she has a large scar on her ribs. Ariana is physically disabled and walks with a cane most of the time. In an emergency she can also fight with her cane to protect herself, but not very efficiently.

Personality

The anti-social socialite, Ariana can be your best friend with a happy smile as well as your killer with a smile that is nothing but empty. As a Kine Ariana always had trouble with emotional connections to others, as a Kindred this is only exacerbated. Ariana can be the best friend you have ever met; exceedingly loyal, trustworthy, dependable, and charitable; but the moment you become a disadvantage to have around you're on the chopping block. Despite her kind and caring personality this is all but a mask as Ariana is just cold hearted and empty inside, not entirely due to being a Archived-Daeva.

Growing up emotionally detached from other humans left Ariana to decide for herself how situations must be dealt with as well as what is right and what is wrong. As a Kindred she uses every opportunity to find similarities between the Kine world she knows and Kindred world she has to learn. Her entire life was based on actively learning social skills in order to subsist and she now resigns herself to doing the same in death. As such, her ultimate desires are not power, but knowledge. The knowledge to know what is the right way to act in order to hide among the crowd. If a situation will let her know more about people and how they think she will immediately help however she can. Much of her life was based on not wanting to be discovered as being "broken" or "damaged", going to great lengths to do what was socially considered to be the right thing and help others. She was a very charitable person and would often lend a hand because she always thought that is what was supposed to be done. Ariana keeps this trait as a Kindred, to the confusion of many as to why she is so concerned about their welfare.

As her entire life is based on watching others and learning how to act she is often scared to meet new people, especially people who are superior to her. Her fear stems from her lack of knowledge on how they react and how they should be addressed. But if given time to warm up to others, Ariana soon learns their person and is able to adjust. As such she is finally able to talk to Archived-Lorenzo Penthièvre without shaking, as she is more often found to do while in the Daeva Haven. As Ariana is constantly learning about people and how they react, she has a very good general knowledge base. If you ask her a question on almost any subject, she can probably give you an answer. Very much a teacher, she is very interested in learning and letting others know things she finds interesting, even if they don't particularly care. Any time she realises they don't care however she is partially crushed inside and remembers to not talk to them like that again if she can avoid it. It does make her sad that they don't wish to learn, however.

She became somewhat body conscious of herself after she became physically disabled and was forced to walk with a cane and do physiotherapy for the rest of her life, she is working out the issues of dealing with that as a kindred. She is very fortunate that her physiotherapy practise runs late. Her issues with her body exemplified after her embrace due to the large scar on her ribs from her sire. However she is working hard to love herself more.

Mortal World

Ariana has tried to keep her human life almost the same, being dead shouldn't change the work she's done about learning people. The only excuse she really has given to her Kine friends is that she contracted a blood disease after being attacked one night and she is now in treatment every day with a highly restricted diet in order to manage her condition. Given her previous issues with disability many of her friends adjusted to the news of her condition quite well. Ariana keeps up with her social media and social engagements as much as she can, but often asks to be excluded from day time activities and photographs, often making the excuse that she doesn't like how she looks from her treatment. So far no one has come up to her to ask about blurry photographs.

She spends much of her time trying to protect herself from accidentally breaking the Masquerade. Her huge involvement with humans has made her almost slip a few times but given the age group she keeps herself too her comments are usually laughed off as a joke. She tries not to make vampire jokes when asked about why she's up at 4am any more. Lorenzo is becoming increasingly interested in being able to use her social connections to help hide Archived-Ezekiel and provide a valid alibi to those complications. Ariana is very willing to help as long as her friends are not harmed.

• SEPTEMBER - is forced into helping Archived-Mikhail Torre escape police by entering a car chase. This ends horribly and the pair are forced to drive into a lake and await retrieval. After being retrieved they are taken back to Imperator West's farm and forced into torpor. Her status is raised for her actions in preserving the Masquerade.
• OCTOBER - has been consistently mentally screwed over by her time in torpor she becomes increasingly reckless and abrasive. Causing harm and annoyance to many at the Court. She uses Entrancement on Mikhail Torre three times in a row, causing him severe, yet temporary, distress. Her status is lowered and her job stripped from her. Coming to the realisation of her atrocious behaviour she falls into a pit of extreme depression and regresses into suicidal tendencies.
• NOVEMBER - still feeling the severe effects of her depression, Ariana joins the First Estate under sponsorship from Duke Penthièvre. During this time she is forced to drink Kine blood for the first time. Being extremely hurt and betrayed by being forced to do something she felt so strongly against she angrily yells as Duke Penthièvre. Attempting to apologise to him the following night is fruitless and she is prevented from committing suicide by being forced into daysleep and locked in a box for a fortnight. She eventually falls into torpor and is able to think things through clearly at her own pace.
• DECEMBER - awakens from torpor covered in tinsel and christmas decorations. Has a new sense of determination about what to do with her Requiem. Receives a pet snake from Lord Archived-Elijah Childe as a gift for her joining the First Estate. Makes business deals with Lord Archived-Alister Liddell to put her new direction into place.
