The damage could have been much worse with allegedly more devices found that did not detonate.

Fortitude Valley: 6th April The recovering Fortitude Valley Entertainment Precinct took a heavy blow with a terror attack on the Cathedral Nightclub. A Molotov cocktail thrown into the Cathedral nightclub in Fortitude at 5AM on 6th April created a huge explosion and set the heritage building alight. The heritage listed building was well engulfed in flames by the time the Fire Department arrived. The soaring flames were contained preventing serious damage to adjoining properties but the heritage listed building has been gutted. Whats happening in Brisbane November 2016 highly abridged version

NWoD What’s happening in Brisbane November 2016

1. The pall over the city is slowly lifting; the mortal population struggles to shed the mantle of apathetic lethargy. Across the city business, construction, entertainment struggles to wake itself from two months of apathy and lack of progress. The only construction projects of note is the proposed lurury resort on Peel Island and the new proposed entertainment district of Lytton.

State of the city is back into decline with more damage done that patrols and fixing up actions, blood is going to be in short supply again this month.

2. Bogans in super hero costumes tried to hold a bad ass concert out of the back of a ute while driving through fortitude valley. Despite the lack of any musical talent the young larrikins roared fearlessly through the valley, and their appalling concert brought some levity to the unusually quiet entertainment district. The first spark of creativity and spontaneity in two months that seems to have helped lift the pall of apathy.

3. There was a brief flurry in Fortitude valley as a gang of bogans, larrikins and street punks subsequently identified as the Lucky Strikes rounded up a crowd smashing cameras and stealing phones before the notorious s Lucky Huston appeared dragging a man identified as Bruno Mac, a notorious thug and rapist who had escaped jail multiple times on technicalities. Lucky Huston then beat him brutally untill the police arrived and arrested several members. There were mixed feelings from the crowd, several approved of the sentiment, almost every was furious at their phones being stolen or damaged.

4. There are some reports of …. Restlessness across several graveyards across the city, however given the lethargy that lies across the city and the lack of any concrete evidence, few care to pay attention to angsty teen goths and neer-do wells lurking about cemeteries.

5. A community support group for victims of consistent abuse Hurting Under Needless Tributations as been formed to provide community support and some limited counselling support,

6. Suburbs that are not safe to visit: where people have gone missing or presented to hospitals with injuries they cannot understand. Herston [Dame], Stradbroke Island, Chermside [Invictus]

7. BCC rezoning plans and remodelling for several proposed zones have been releases. BCC Chair for Urban Development Cr W. Anker proposed the Urban Restructure Plan for inner city Brisbane. In related news a class action suit against the BCC has been proposed and by local businesses in the Eagle Farm area.

8. The Masonic Memorial Centre on Ann Street has changed it’s opening hours for late night members.

9. The was mixed violence across the city the first time in two months. The Lucky Strike having rebuilt from a bikie gang to a gang of street punks and larrikins had several runs in the mafia. Initially the conflict favoured the Strikes taking the mafia by surprise before a concerted effort of predominantly day time beatings put many of the young punks into hospitals.

10. Due to the apathy in the city, there are mixed feelings, some support for the Strikes since they predominantly seem to be young kids getting brutally thumped but there is also a healthy does of play with fire, get burned sentiments.

11. News articles are relatively bland and nothing seems to be being pushed, as if journalists and editors arent interested in their jobs very much, or they are deliberately keeping quiet.

Whats happening in Brisbane October 2016 highly abridged version

1. State of the City: The city hangs under a pall of bleakness, there is no joy, no sorrow, everything has descended suddenly into monotonous routine. People simply go about their daily lives, they eat but dont taste, make love but dont enjoy. Almost as if something has sucked all the joy and happiness out of the city. Worse none of the humans notice the change, this is how life is and always has been. It's almost as if all the humans are sleepwalkers in a deep deep slumber, cut off from something that they never knew

Effects: There is no risk taking no thrills, nothing but monotonous banal routine. There has been a significant drop in overall workplace productivity, the areas that pulsed with energy, the Botanic Gardens, the area around St Lucia, *coughwrymsnestcough* feels dead. The entertainment scene is a dim shadow now as if it is too much effort to go out.

Side Effects: On a brighter note there has been a steep decline in the crime rate, with a silver lining of there are no more ghosts anywhere, not in the CBD, not in China Town, even the wandering ghost in St Lucia have all vanished.

There is almost no hype in the newspapers, and less interest in people chasing up stories about murders, or killers or missing people.

State of the city is back into decline with more damage done that patrols and fixing up actions, blood is going to be in short supply again this month.

Whats Happening in Brisbane July 2016

1. Strikes Gang Leader uncovered, wanted for questioning over missing Police Officer.

The QPF and Roma Street HQ remain tight lipped on a massive crack down on gang club houses allegedly in response to an undercover police inspector feared dead in relation to the gang violence. Inside information alleges that the leader of the strikes, a woman going by the name of ‘Lucky Huston’ executed the undercover police inspector Inspector Redfield. There has been no comment from the QPF, the Police Unions or local government. An artists rendition of “Lucky Huston” was quickly quashed, there are still no images available for Inspector Redfield and several media companies are offering staggeringly large amounts of money for any images of the missing policeman.

2 Terror Alert Missing Persons Numbers Escalate: The number of people reported missing in June-July has been the highest in recent times. The Missing Persons Register currently lists 589 people missing since May. Much has been attributed to the bloodbath between the Yakuza/Mafia/Strikes. July has seen another 39 people added to the Missing Persons Register despite the apparent cessation of underworld hostility.

Underworld Bloodbath: Police remain high alert after after a string of people with alleged links to the underworld were found dead in June. In June 2016 a string of executions with a katana and evidence of a series of running battles between the underworld heavyweights has been reflected in plummeting confidence in the Police Force Mafia Opt Out: Mr Morello, businessman and alleged Don in the Mafia released a statement stating from his heavily guarded home that he is concerned over the libel and slander that himself and his business associates are being tarred with what he terms ‘Internal Yakuza Politics’, and ‘Imported muscle’. This is amid more rumours of Mafia clean up crews mopping up after various altercations that involved gunfire.

4. The Thin Blue Line Under Scrutiny: Camera Shy Police Inspector Inspector Redfield still MIA

The QPF remain light lipped about a missing officer and refuse to comment. Despite the apparent unofficial gag order the missing police officer was identified as Inspector Redfield. The high ranking officer was known as an outspoken advocate of the 2015 VLAD Crackdown on the Mafia/Yakuza and Inspector Redfield continues to intrigue the media with his disappearance, and the refusal of the QPF to release images or information add to the mystery.

Conspiracy theorists are going wild and allege that the government are using targeted psychological warfare to make people ‘forget’ that they had interactions with the missing officer, including other police officers who suddenly either have no comment, or genuinely do not remember. Hard to imagine that a police officer could so completely disappear. Good thing there are all those public audio clips from June 2015 about him endorsing VLAD or he could have disappeared in the government cover up.
