Personal Information
Appearance
Red Hair with white blonde fringe from pigment damage from a burn. The damage continues onto the left hand side of her face and eye. Her right eye is violet, a family trait shared by her identical twin sister Archived-Harriet Valdyr.
Personality
She's very traditional and steadfast in her duties as sister and practitioner, some might say OCD. Like Harriet, she is fiercely loyal, and her primary driving force is to support her sister, House Valdyr and the Invictus. She is seen to be constantly correcting her sister’s wild behaviour and is highly protective of her cousin Archived-Eira.
Mortal World
Charlotte currently works the night shift at Toowoomba Base Hospital. She works mainly in triage but can help you out at the morgue and in pathology departments as well.
Pre-Embrace
Charlotte was born on the Isle of Skye, Scotland on the 26th of August 1921, a few minutes before her twin Harriet. Her Mother was a proud Scottish woman passing this trait on to her two daughters. Her Father was Finnish and he took great pains to tell her of the family line and teach her his language. She speaks fluent Gaelic, English, Finish and Bahasa (Indonesian). Was the traditional lady unlike her sister!
Charlotte was engaged to Andrew McKinnon, one of the lairds from Skye. She moved to the big city of Glasgow to attend Nurses’ college. She then enlisted with the Royal Army at the outbreak of World War II. Andrew was killed in France and Charlotte has never really recovered from this. She rose quickly through the ranks and at the time of her capture she had achieved the rank of Major. She was stationed in Singapore in 1942 and was taken to a Japanese POW camp. She was mistaken for her twin, the spy, and suffered immense torture. The visible scarring on her face is proof of this.
Embrace
Vilhelmiina discovered her almost at death, so close in fact that the only way to preserve her life was to embrace her. Vilhelmiina then took both twins to Australia, at the insistence of Harriet. Once safely in the country Harriet was embraced also.
In 1956 Vilhelmiina was sent to torpor by Berengaria and four years later Harriet and Charlotte become the Vassals of Rasmus Armfelt. Moved to the Toowoomba Court during 1977 for a brief period before heading to help the family during the Brood War in Sydney in 1978/79.
Currently
Charlotte and Harriet now live a comfortable life in Toowoomba, attending court gatherings frequently and enjoying the company of Charlotte’s Scottish Wildcat Shadow.
