Many faces to all, Ferdinand often appears to mortals as the well dressed businessman or the young casually dressed technology aware entrepreneur. On only the most rarest occasion he has been the blood thirsty slaughterer, but what do you expect from years of suppression.

Something changed in Ferdinand during the early 2000's, while in the past he has been overly composed and much the same when dealing with mortals and kindred there is now a overwhelming contrast. To the kindred his humanity faded last century, while mortals get a new and enthusiastic persona.

Forever the businessman he rarely has any Vampires who he meets with outside of Court matters, with the exception being those of The Clan and his direct lineage. Even when dealing with members of his own clan and covenant a distance is maintained.

Very few had seen his true form till the start of the century, when he would come to courts without undergoing his ritualistic preparations. It is unknown to most why he chooses to attend Court 'natural' at times, but when he does the difference is more than just appearance.

Personal Information

Ferdinand (or Ferd for short) deals a great deal with mortals and their societies. Constantly infiltrating parts of the mortal world, usually at the request of others, he anchors himself or others to develop their control. Wherever he travels he has a knack of knowing who to talk to in order to get something done. He does not seem to care about the clan, covenant, associations or religious beliefs of others when he works, though he often favours his own clan and covenant.

There is a limit on the level of interaction a vampire will have with mortals and mortal society, Ferdinand breaches this normal comfort barrier and embraces the mortal society. Extravagant parties and living the high life is only a small part of what he wants, working with everything further down the social ladder till scrapping the bottom of mortal society. He does not see them as food, something that needs to be scared or beneath association. He works outside of what normal vampires do, letting others excel in their own relationships with mortals and their world, usually to the detriment of the mortals.

He takes his Carthian Experiments seriously, but for him they are most often business ventures trying different models through which a kindred can influence or infiltrate mortal society. The business ventures are often in a key or booming industry, allowing him the chance to understand the sector and grow into others. When the venture has become a success or failure he will cease his involvement, either closing or selling the business before starting another.

Appearance

His appearance amongst the courts varies, though usually he downplays his outfits wearing sensible comfortable street attire or whatever best blends into the local area, leaving extravagance for the mortal world when it demands. The peak of commonly available technology is usually at his finger tips, leading him to carrying a number of phones and wireless devices.

Personality

In order to cope with the fractured world Ferdinand has worked on splitting himself into separate entities, each suitable for the world in which they reside. Each entity arose from a need to exist in a world separate from the others.
The Body - is kept for dealing with Kindred under Ferdinand Wolfe.
The Humanity - is kept for dealing with mortals under many aliases.
The Mind - resides in the internet usually under the alias of NAND.
The Beast - is suppressed most of the time, released when required and often refereed to as The Wolf.

Code

• Masquerade - Vampires are different to humans, we hunt them for our own survival and they would hunt us out of fear. When vampires and humans are equal one can know the other, but we are far from this time.
• Humans - Humans are inferior to Vampires on a whole, but they are a source of sustenance to many. Humans should be nurtured to advance to a higher level, when this nurturing is in the control of Vampires we can ensure that there are equalising weaknesses. We are not and will never be humans, humans and vampires are each in their own. We hunt them to survive, and if they know of us they will do the same.
• Vampires - Vampires are superior to Humans on a whole, but this superiority should only be taken with its weakness, the most important of this is daylight.
• Society - All Vampires deserve equality, to each as they require. The individual can only prosper when society prospers.
• Leadership - Where the most humane should lead the humans the most in-humane should lead the Vampires. The leader should know their beast but be in control of it. A Governor is a leader of the people and must work with the people for the people.
• Individuals - The one is part of the whole, where the actions of the one affects the whole. Any actions taken are the responsibility of the one performing and the ones knowing what is occurring.
• Religion - Our religious belief is for ourselves and those who share a similar belief. Religion has no place in politics or with those who do not share those beliefs.
• Killing - Killing of vampires, humans or animals should only be done when required for survival. Death is natural, but not for Vampires, who do not need to die. Vampires are superior to humans as they do not need to kill to survive, only taking from an easily replenishing supply.
• Boons - A Vampires word is their bond, to enforce this boons should be registered. Without boons our society
• Status - Those who have excelled or shown great dedication are recognised for their actions. They are not any more important than any other, but their words, for the subject matter for which they are revered, carry more weight than others.

Mortal World

Most mortals know him by whatever name he gives when they meet, rarely meeting the same people twice under the same identity he changes to suit the audience. He often gets into discussions by citing associates or friends, who are sometimes past identities taken by Ferdinand, taking advantage of others unwillingness to raise suspension of their own connections, memory or wealth.

Away from personal contact he often maintains relationships with those he has met as required via email, messaging and phone. On rare occasions he will meet with people as Ferdinand, hiding only his true nature, except of course for those eyes.

Other than his real identity, his only consistent identity, is that of NAND, his internet alias or handle which is far from unique. In the past it has been linked to a number of internet based attacks, but given its prevalence and precautions taken no action has been taken.

Timeline

Still in development, pretty much everything is adaptable.

• 1901 - Born in England to George and Mary Williams on 14th September. Started to work as an apprentice wireless operator under his father from 1914 through World War 1 until his death in 1916. He moved into field operator in 1917 where he stayed for the remained of the war.
• 1919 - Mother remarried to a Hungarian immigrant Edvard Wolfe, later Edward Wolfe, who had worked with Ferdinand after his defection during the war. He started an apprenticeship in banking and martial training under his step-father, unknowingly in preparation for the future. He became a bank clerk in 1923, taking on the accounts of his step-father's associates, all Nosferatu ghouls.
• 1926 - Travelled with his family and fathers associates (Nosferatu ghouls) through Europe, during which he became a retainer. Returning to England in 1930 with his step-fathers estate, unknowingly including a vampire Alajos Kaiser.
• 1933 - Immigrated to Melbourne, Australia, with his family and started working as a bank clerk, managing investments for Nosferatu ghouls. Became bank manager of a suburban branch in 1937 and then a ghoul to the Nosferatu Alajos Kaiser and ceased ageing (36 years old).
• 1939 - Entered the service and was deployed to Europe early 1940 along with his two brothers Joseph and Mark. Joseph died from an infected wound in 1941 and Mark returned home months later after sustaining a bullet wound. Ferdinand disappeared into Europe, pronounced missing in action in 1942, after which he spent 2 years recovering some items for the Nosferatu.
• 1943 - Sired by Alajos Kaiser after returning to Australia, settling in Sydney.
• 1944 - Commenced the first of many investments through mortals, with the further development and funding of blood and organ transfusions through Red Cross. His aim was to both enhance the lives of humans and provide a supply for vampires.
• 1946 - Re-entered mortal society, talking temporary identities during which time he awoken Archived-The Cockscomb Society bloodline. Then in 1956 started working in television under the identity of John Brown.
• 1960 - Introduced to the Carthian Movement by Archived-Tobias Mol and Archived-Sawyer.
• 1964 - Slept for 3 years after Mothers death (aged 80). Awaking in 1997 with the entity of The Humanity evolved to deal with the mortal world. Then starting to work in investment banking under the identity Jason White.
• 1969 - Joined the Carthian Movement under the mentorship of Archived-Tobias Mol, then Archived-Sawyer.
• 1975 - Left Sydney for Melbourne (TBC location and timeframe) after Governor Gallagher took power with Brood occupation.
• 1976 - Claimed the title of Governor of Sydney and commenced efforts to reclaim Sydney, including discussions at the National Conclave.
• 1976 - Founds Archived-The Clan with Archived-Mr Hobbes after months of debate on the purpose of 'The Curse'.
• 1979 - Sydney reclaimed from the Brood and brought under the Conclave, continues as the 6th Governor of Sydney with a ??? court (TBC) to promote a safe and protected .
• 1981 - Continued investments including personal endeavours relating to human enhancement - with hearing enhancement (1981), biomedical ventures (1987) and blood pumps for prolonged sustenance (1993). Also collaborative construction investments with Haydens PC in the Sydney's 2000 Olympics bid (1991), Australian Technology Park in Eveleigh/Redfern (1993), World Square complex in Sydney (1997) and number of tourist services for Sydney's Olympics (2000).
• 1983 - Moved the structure of the court over a year to a business model.
• 1987 - Moved the structure of the court over a year to a ??? model.
• 1990 - Started work as a contract programmer under the identity Patrick Green.
• 1995 - Handed over Governorship of Sydney to Archived-Jack Wolfe as the Seventh Governor of Sydney. Continued as his Seneschal for a year before moving away from Court politics.
• 1996 - Slept for 2 years following step-fathers death (aged 118), awaking in 1997 to commence further support and investments in Transhumanist initiatives.
• 1998 - Worked in software development and internet service providers under the identity of Simon Redding.
• 2001 - Software venture failure with server room explosion to cover up a frenzy, where Ferdinand with axe in hand slaughtered two dozen employees in the companies server room. The fire known as the Dot Com Explosion on 1st February claimed the lives of 23 workers, injuring 42 others with debris or through the evacuation. Ferdinand made a public apology to the Sydney Court for his loss in control and spent several months dedicated to cleaning up all breaches to the Masquerade, seeking the aid of many including the mortal Archived-Lester Crassus. In the aftermath Ferdinand had burnt through most of his mortal allies, damaged his reputation but the Masquerade was secure.
• 2002 - Slept for a year following the Dot Com Explosion. Awaking in 2003 with the entity of The Beast evolved to deal with what dwells inside all Kindred. Over this time he becomes more aware of ghosts around him, most being those he killed in 2001. He dedicates most of his remaining resources to helping them move on.
• 2003 - Participated in the Archived-Livian Crusade, While not allied with either religious covenant he joined in the effort as he was 'duty bound' in some capacity. His level of involvement was the coordination a team of mortals in the attack (all who perished there) and was only personally involved in one encounter.
• 2004 - Took control of two start-up biomedical companies under the identity of John Black, unlike previous work he was far removed from the daily activities taking a very impersonal role and rarely meeting others face to face. These were later handed over to two separate human entrepreneurs in 2007.
• 2006 - Wakes Archived-Mr Hobbes from torpor to assist with overcoming his mental degeneration stemming from the massacre of 2001. From there begins to develops 'Attestation' with many of The Clan, an amalgamation of Scientology auditing and Christian confessional, an attempt to help members with psychological issues. Mr Hobbes is at first resistant to the idea, but after sessions being run for other members warms to the idea. Through Attestation Mr Hobbes and Ferdinand begin to overcome many of their social and mental issues, the major of which allows Ferdinand to understand the part he played in the massacre of 2001 and the purpose of the ghosts who are around him.
• 2010 - Slept for 2 years after brothers death (aged 104). Awaking in 2012 with the entity of The Mind evolved to deal in the digital world.
• 2012 Started working in telecommunications under the identity of 'Peter Green'.

Recent History

Waking in 2011 as a different man, to what he was a decade prior he has spent the last few years dedicated to the Carthian Movement and the Sydney Court. His slow introduction to the mortal world, has allowed him to gradually rebuild his confidence in dealing with mortals. It seems the publicly known (to kindred only) frenzy in 2001 that cost the lives of nearly two dozen humans and following extensive cover up took their toll.
