The Armidale City Council Community Relations committee serves 3 functions:
- To communication between Council and the Armidale Community.
- To represent Council’s engagement with the community related to planning.
- To review funding guidelines and monitor Council’s allocation to community organisations.
Objectives
- To provide a means for community members to raising issues or related matters of concern to Council.
- To advise methods of awareness for the Community of Council’s activities.
- To arrange public relations activity, community education, civic participation and to contribute to Council’s Strategic Planning.
