An account of the Last Days of the war by John Smith: "The Sabbat War was both the worst time in the history of Brisbane City, and the best time, as it planted the seeds of the city we would come to know and love. They came in the aftermath of the second great war, with the other refugees and immigrants, but they didnt come with the intention of working, or becoming lawful citizens of this city. THey had come from the crumbling empire of old germany, fresh with the memories of unlimited blood from concentration camps, where they could glut themselves as much as they wanted, and throw away the mortals like trash, and they wanted to do the same things here. They started with illegal brothels, Brothels in name only, chained men, woman and children, used by perverts in ways that defy humanity, some of our brothers and sisters even found they came to like this perversion, sick of the hunt, and wanting easy prey, they fell and joined the sabbat cause. They moved from there to infiltrate the gangs, with violence and flames covering their tracks. We had no idea they were even here, we had just assumed the mortals, fresh out of the war, were restless and exuberant, they were not. Pawns of the Lasombra and their wicked pratices, converting all they could find to their abhorrant ways. When we first became aware that the problem was bigger than just a few gangs, it was already almost too late. They were deeply rooted, we fought battel after battle, neither side gaining ground, mortal pawns dying in the riots. Mortals crushed under the Vohzd, Driven insane by the .. the things that were unleased. Something had to be done. We found allies in the unlikliest of places, the Sabbat, in their pride and arrogence, assumed they could win a war on 2 fronts, and declared war on the Anarchs. Our prince, Oda, in secret, along with a delegation of representatives of the council, approached the anarchs and opened a dialogue, to our surprise, the anarchs cut a deal. We would not interfere with them, or they us, without invitation, and in exchange we would have a mutual defence pact against the sabbat and other aggressors. The deal was hammered out, signed in blood. The next night, Daimyo Oda, with his Iron guard of ghouls went to war, the might of the camarilla and the Anarchs at his side. Many were lost, but in the end, Daimyo Oda ripped the heart out of the archbishop. Ending the influence of sabbat in Brisbane.
