What she remembers:
Isobel was born in Scotland, but moved to London with her husband after a marriage of political alliance. There she was embraced by her sire in the dying years of the 19th Century, forced to abandon her husband and two small children. She moved to Australia at the orders of her Sire Nicolaus, and after his torpor, flourished in Kindred society until her own torpor in 1930. She awoke confused and with no memory of her previous life, and so it was that she remade herself with the follwoing false history.
Born in the 1950's to English Immigrants, Isobel took over her family transport company on the death of her father. Known to be a strong advocate for women's rights, and a shrewd business woman, she forged her way through the glass ceiling, fighting off takeover attempts, buy-offs and Board of Director revolts at a woman running a blue chip company. Her Grandson, Alister Bathory who found her after he rise from Torpor colluded with this fabricated story to manage the old and crazy Grandsire.
In November 2017, the facade broke and she remembered her real life and history.
Appearance
Isobel appears to be in her late 30's and is always seen wearing stylish, mainly designer couture. She has medium-long dark hair which is usually in some form of elaborate up-do.
Personality
Isobel is a personable Kindred who is able to strike up a conversation with most, but she is also a shrewd businesswoman who does not suffer fools. She is known to be an excellent financial and asset manager.
Mortal World
Isobel Bryce-Ashmore is the Matriarch of the Kings Transport and Logistics company. Both of her brothers suffered as casualties in Vietnam and were unable to continue running the fledgling company upon the death of their father Maurice Bryce. To save the company being broken up and sold to competitors, Isobel took over despite the protests of several of the board of directors. She provided a promising profit the year she took over the company and spearheaded innovations in transport and logistics that ensured the financial security of the company. Her subsequent marriage to James Ashmore, and acquisition of the Ashmore Transport Group further ensured the viability of the company for the foreseeable future. In 2003 Isobel moved from the family home in Melbourne to an undisclosed location. Rumours flourished that the stalwart business woman had succumbed to the same cancer that had killed her father in the 70's. Others suggested that the ongoing estrangement from Husband James Ashmore had taken its toll (certainly the divorce settlement would be massive). She remained as the owner of Kings, but her Eldest son Phillip, took over the day to day running of the company. She has maintained a reclusive lifestyle since the funeral of James Ashmore in 2004.
Information Known by Kindred Society
Isobel was thought to have beenembraced in Melbourne by Alister Bathory in 1988. In actuality, she was embraced much earlier, at the end of the 19th Century by Nicolaus Bathory. In early 2003, Isobel moved to Roxby Downs at the request of Prince Rex Giles to establish transport infrastructure. She was instrumental in establishing both the airport and rail systems in the city, earning herself some renown within the Invictus. In September 2017, after the sudden death of Prince Giles, Isobel took Praxis of the city afetr a brief competitiion with the Gangrel, Sebastian Kage. Her rule begain fairly stable, but as the months passed, she seemed to become more unstable and draconian in her rule. She earned the nickname The Mad Queen before her rule eas ended in May 2017, and she handed her Praxis to her Grandson Felix Edmiston.

1870 - Born Isobel Glendinning, in Glasgow, Lancashire, Scotland
1888 Married to Henry William Bryce
1898- Enbraced by Nicolaus Bathory He takes her away from London making her abandon her husband and two sons
1901 - Still unreleased and slowly being driven crazy by Nicolaus, they sail to Australia and make home in Melbourne
1902 - Manumission
1904-1905 - Russo-Japan War. Duty calls Nicolaus home, and he takes Isobel to Port Arthur, on the Liaodong Peninsula while he fulills his duty. Nicolaus embraced Jue Wong.
1905-1915 Nicolaus returns to Melbourne with Isobel. Nicolaus enters torpor in 1915
1915-1930 - Isobel meets and falls in love with an Invictus Gangrel Kinght Elijah Storm
1920 - Trains as a Notary, joins the Guild of the Sanguine Quill
1929 - Embraces Evelyn Bathory
1930- Releases Evelyn, enters Torpor
1930 - 1988 - Torpor
1988 - Wakens from Torpor, fog of time confuses her, assumes Alister Bathory is her Sire
1989 - Meets the mortal Isobel Bryce-Ashmore. Agrees to protect her family. After her death, Isobel Bathory assumes the identity of Isobel Bryce Ashmore in the mortal community, and continues to live her life.
2003 - Moves to Roxby Downs Accepts the position of Commissioner
2004 - Completes construction of the Airport in Roxby Downs
2009 - Completes rail connections to Adelaide/Darwin
2010 - Awarded the title Baroness for services to the Invictus (TBC)
2016 - Death of several family members and grandson Alister Bathory in a crone gathering in Adelaide.
Recent History
August 2016 - Attends the court of Prince Rex Giles in Roxby Downs. An tremor shakes the ground and Prince Giles leaves to investigate. Later it is discovered that the Prince has met Final Death. isobel claims Praxis, as Giles's Seneschal and chosen successor. SheriffSebastian Kage opposed her claim, but soon retracted his claim and Isobel proclaimed herself Prince unoopposed.
September 2016 - Second Court. New member of the court acknowledged. Interesting new artwork has been installed at court. Grants Domain over the business "Illusion" to Maddalena Palma and all her descendants in perpetuity.
October 2016 - Travels to Canberra for the Conclave with Gervais Thibault and Tatiana Miasnivena. Accepts Sir Ezekiel Adams as her vassal. Faces Kormac in the Pit trap. Escapes without a scratch.
October 5, 2016 - Is present in GLOW nightclub on the night of the Hunter attack. Is Protected by Sheriff Kage, escaping the combat in the underground bunker with several other Kindred of the city. Assists the Kindred in the bunker to escape after the club is sealed off by police investigators.
October 9, 2016 - 3rd court. In a unique location due to fears that the remaining hunters will attack again. Announces Holly Grant as her Herald, Maddalena Palma as a Primogen and announces a new Order- The Defenders of the Crown
- Those who defend the city and the Prince are worthy of praise. Individuals who place their lives in peril for the safety of their Prince, earn her favour.
- So it is that Vicountess Prince Bathory names Lord Gervais Thibault as first among the Defenders of the Crown, and has bestowed upon earlier this evening him a token of her appreciation.
- Lord Thibalult was not the only Kindred to act in this way, and so I name The Lady Keeper, Tatiana Miasnivena to this distinguished group.
May 2017 - At an uprising during the court gathering, Isobel hands her Praxis to her Grandson Felix Edmiston. She is attacked my members of the Crone and Carthian and is spirited away from the gathering by Joey Johnson.
June 2017 - Rumours she has moved to Albany WA
