She's easily frustrated by the musings of men and their inability to take her seriously due to her appearance and gender. Marina is from a Matriarchal shadow dominated by shape shifters, it is believed to be closer to the courts of chaos then she lets on. She has a claim to the throne of Amber through her father. her older sister fought her way to be leader of the clans.

Past History

• Marina is the second eldest surviving female from her litter.
• As is the custom amongst her people she left to explore other worlds when she reached her tenth cycle.
• Upon her return she discovered that her Sister Nuria had fought their aunt for control of the Crystal castle and the right to lead the clans.
• Whilst trapped in the mirror dreams Marina faced her fear and fell from the rafters of the great hall in order to claim the Scimitar and defeat the dream serpent. She was greatly injured in this feat but it was a dream so no ones knows just how bad the damage really was.
• When the shadow storm raged across the worlds Marina lead the denizens of Kashfa to the lair of the Chaos Lord behind it all. Princess Marcella took up Marina's pattern blade and destroyed the loom shattering the blade into hundreds of pieces.
• Married Hector in the throne room of Amber to solidify an alliance and strengthen their claims to the throne
• Became queen of Amber
• Shortly after becoming Queen Marina became aware of a greater threat to the world of Amber and took it upon herself to take action to save them. She vanished while walking the pattern and is presumed dead.
