Personal Information
A young mage of unimportant background, Opal likes to help others and travel the country on foot. She's unusually sensitive to the supernatural world and uses this insight to find her 'interesting places'. Because of this, she's most recently landed in Columbia, Missouri and is busily diving into the mysteries there and even meeting a few previously online-only friends!
Appearance
Long blue hair and bright blue eyes are what catch most people's attention first; after that, it wanders to the waifish frame and second-hand clothes. While Opal always seems one meal away from a "First World Hunger" commercial, she's always bright and cheerful. Her clothes, while obviously 'previously loved', usually sport uplifting phrases or funny pictures.
Nimbus
A flare of multi-hued light that reflects and refracts like a crystaline fractal pattern around her. It is beautiful to watch, but some people can become fascinated or disoriented by the constantly shifting colors and angles.
Personality
Upbeat and cheerful, Opal firmly believes the world is a better place than it is. While optimistic, she's neither naive nor stupid and will easily use manipulation and charm to get her way if needed.

Information Known by Awakened Society
Opal is a somewhat new mage and an avid follower of both the Acanthus freewheeling lifestyle and the Free Council embrace of all things modern and techy. She has a goetia familiar she aquired while playing Star Wars: The Old Republic named Datacron that likes to communicate with her in the Gree style of speach from the game. It's quite amusing. And color-coded.
Timeline
- 1995 - Born.
- 2000 - Abandoned on Wheeler Street in a small town in Colorado for unknown reasons, put into the foster system.
- 2013- Graduated out of the foster system shortly after Awakening, she's 'been walking' ever since.
Recent Events
Opal recently arrived in Columbia, Missouri while walking north towards Canada ("for the summer"). The tangle of ley-lines and cooperative nature of the various supernatural groups in the area has intrigued her and she's decided to stay put for a while to help out. The monstrous nature of several of the regulars of Neutral Grounds, along with the seemingly endless nightmares plaguing Columbia during the summer of 2018 sent Opal walking north again, though she can be reached on her phone by those interested.
