1830-1860: Things started small and steadily grew. There were considerable conflicts with the original inhabitants of the region most of which ended poorly for the kindred colonists. Despite this, progress continued at a steady pace, the kindred that managed to survive forming an uneasy, paranoid co-existence. Little attention was paid to the small settlement by the established Courts of the East Coast and Europe at this stage, however the first exploratory forays from the various Covenants began during this time.
