Over the course of their existence, several important agreements have come to have meaning to the Sabbat. No Cainite should undergo the Creation Rites without knowing what these documents are, if not intimately than at least loosely. Each year, the Sabbat gather in their Diocese to affirm their dedication to the tenants of the Sabbat during the Binding.
The Book of Nod
The primary transmission of Caine's story was passed through oral tradition in the guise of Sabbat ritae and storytelling. This tome is a collection of ancient texts, viewed as sacred to Noddist Kindred, which consists of multiple recensions and fragments that have been reassembled by various Kindred scholars. There have been several attempts to compile these texts into one book.
The Convention of Thorns
The agreement that ended the Anarch Revolt and founded the Camarilla. It is also seen by many Cainites as the document that also founded the Sabbat (LotN(R):SG, p9)
The Code of Milan
The Rules that Govern the Sabbat. It asserts what it means to be Sabbat, and the responsibilities that should accompany the Sect's freedoms. (LotN(R):SG, p9)
The Purchase Pact
The Pact that forbids Sabbat from striking against each other for personal gain. "It enforced a previously inconceivable unity to the sect after one of its debilitating civil wars" (LotN(R):SG, p9)
