A late Victorian Italianate style home, the Guitar Mansion -- aka Confederate Hill -- was built during the American Civil War by David Guitar, a prominent local businessman and farmer (and veteran of Confederate service), who lived there with his wife Harriet and their 10 children.

The manse was procured by local Venture interests prior to World War I, and in short order it became the primary Elysium for what was then known as the Domain of Columbia. Despite the rising and falling fortunes of area Kindred in the time since, it remains Elysium.
