Personal Information
Valan's Birth Name was Vivian Alan Waits, born in Sonoma County, California Feb 28, 1949.
He was raised by his widow mother up to the age of 7 until she remarried to a physically abusive man who was a drinker and a fiend. Valan hated the man and never recognised him as a father. Years past, Valan was now 12 and on one unfortunate night Valan witnessed his drunken step father beating up his mother. In her defence he confronted his step father with a kitchen knife and stabbed him until dead. Founded guilty, Valan spent 8 years in juvenile prison and was released at the age of 20. After hearing the news that his mother was taken to a mental ward and later committed suicide, he had no where to go. He took to the streets with no work and no money, which later led to crimes such as theft and smuggling and selling contraband including illegal drugs for 6 years. Valan would often end up in trouble after he had gotten a taste for these drugs and would get in debt due to the fact he used a lot of these drugs on himself and not make the cash to pay back what he owed. Later he was on the run keeping a low profile under the name Valan. Over the next 5 years he worked behind the bar to help pay for his drinking and drug habbits and would keep moving from town to town, because no place was safe when you have a price on your head. He was later saved by reverend Alexandr and he helped Valan give up his addiction and got him through his withdrawals and later became his Sire. Valan felt it was his only true chance of escaping his dark past. ...He was wrong!
Appearance
Tall and slim framed. His shoulder length hair glossy and as black as Obsidian. His Snakelike Eyes narrowed and are the colour of burning scarlet but his glare cold and dark.
