Personal Information

Appearance

Murmur is an athletically built vampire, standing above 6ft tall with an well rounded amount of muscle for her shape. Her skin, hair and very clothes seem to consist of a constant ash haze, penetrated only by the whites of her eyes. Concerning hair, the sides of her skull are shaved, leaving only a long cropping to cover the remainder which is either tied back in a high ponytail or left to hang free. Scars are littered all over her body, the freshest being the uneven cuts that frame her face closest to the bones of her jaw and forehead. Other distinguishing features include jagged ears, lack of eyebrows, a tattoo sleeve covering the entirety of her right arm and a monocular night vision goggle that allows her to project through the darkness with ease.

She wears weathered black fur-covered combat boots along with bagged jeans, a loose black tank top and finger-less leather gloves. In the months of winter, she likes to remind herself of her heritage by adorning a long black coat and an equally dark ushanka hat; one of the few belongings she has kept since serving in the Russian military. A single silver dog tag hangs from her neck, albeit the details of her former name have all but been faded or scratched out.

Personality

Though not her real name, Murmur carries many of the characteristics her nickname suggests. She is quiet but is not shy of speaking of mind. She talks only when it is required or deemed important as she believes that it is through deeds, not words that get things done. Born a sociopath, Murmur learned from a young age that making friends is difficult. She gives out compliments although she may not mean them in an attempt to better blend in to Kindred society though even as a human, she found socializing to be one of her weaker points. The sociopathic tendencies tend to make her selfish and unable to comprehend remorse, albeit it enhances her ability to be a killer and do the dirty work other Kindred tend to avoid. Ruthless and merciless in her approach, when she is set to work, the vampire does not stop until the job is done. The only jobs she avoids doing are those involving children as it goes against her moral code to involve them.

When seen mingling, she will sometimes approach to make short conversation, usually preferring small groups or individuals to crowds as a whole. When on guard duty she will remain vigilant and will usually refuse to make conversation, preferring to cross her arms and stay stationary or patrol the area in a commanding gait. She will even go so far as to close her eyes, feigning disinterest and alertness to trick her enemies should they try to use that moment to catch her off guard.

Likes

  • Drinking and smoking but avoids hard illicit drugs.
  • Money, wealth and all materialistic things deemed worthy or of importance.
  • Anything to do with her former homeland whether it being politics or sports.
  • Vampires who treat humans poorly and/or like food rather than equals.
  • Feeding, whether it be from animals or humans. She enjoys taking it more than required as she appreciates the rush.
  • Anything that makes her feel excitement.

Dislikes

  • People who talk but offer little in substance or gain.
  • Being annoyed or bothered for no particular reason.
  • Children or anyone who acts like one.
  • Vampires with low intelligence or passive behavior.

Hobbies

  • Archery - When not on duty she often practices the craft when she has trouble sleeping.
  • Collecting - She adores small trinkets or anything quirky.
  • Keeping physically fit.
  • Learning - Despite how she appears, Murmur always has a thirst for gaining new knowledge no matter the context.
  • Speaking Russian - Her english is not perfect so any excuse to speak her mother-tongue is viewed as therapeutic almost.

  • March 2016 - Tentacle infestation spreads despite conjoined efforts in keeping it contained. With her Sire's blessing, Murmur decides to move interstate as the tension of the Society of the Accord continues to linger. She longs for a fresh start away from political scandal.
