Necromancer of the Mysterium

Concept:

When I first went to design Freak I wanted to play a life and matter mage, obsessed with blending the two somehow, in the name of adaption and evolution, that the world might progress and the natural world might survive. Paradox and disbelief were going to be his two biggest issues, but the idea was to introduce these things to sleepers slowly to start mitigating disbelief. I was going to have him be a Silver Ladder Thyrsus, but it just didnt fit the character, so he ended up a Mysterium Moros.

Physical description:

Freak is a man of average height, about 5'11", slim beneath the clothes he wears, and generally looking like he just came from work with the lab coat he wears most of the time.

His hair is black and kept short, his eyes are steel gray with rings of copper around the iris. He is fair skinned. He looks his age (for now).

He dresses in a smart casual outfit usually, preferring to wear a red shit and black pants to meetings with other mages... Along with his ever present lab coat.

Nimbus:

Freaks Nimbus is a roiling cloud of green stained gold, always shifting and changing, sometimes seeming to form into shapes and faces, or gaping tooth filled maws made of shifting metals.

Awakened: 2000

Initial Master: Harp

• 2000: Was found.
• 2001: Joined the Mysterium
• 2002: Began learning under Harp.
• 2004: Finished Master Degree in Pathology, began working in Forensics.
• 2005: Had a falling out with Harp over views on Life magic.
• 2006: Helped to found the Archons Cabal.
• 2008: Finished Doctorate in Biology and Pathology, founded his own business and began hiring out.
• 2011: Helped protect the Athenaeum during the Brisbane Floods. Earned his Liegeman status.

• Freak discovers that he has been under some powerful spell to make him think he was a Moros, when in fact he is really a Thyrsus.
