Timeline OOC

- The gold rushes occurred hard on the heels of a major worldwide economic depression. As a result, about two per cent of the population of Britain and Ireland immigrated to NSW and Victoria during the 1850s, this is when Adam a young Welsh Anglican came to Australia.

- 1859 Having failed to make his fortune Adam nearly dies of bloody flux (dysentery)

- 1861 having found the faith, Adam and his wife start a small church outside Ballarat.

- 1868 Bushrangers get cornered and seek refuge in Adam’s parish this leads to the death of his wife.

- 1868 – 1872 Adam hunts down the gang that slaughtered his parish.

- 1872 Adam was embraced by a Gangrel from the Armbruster Family who was enraptured by his hunting prowess. Once embraced he takes the name Shard over Adam.

- 1878 Shard still learning the ways of a gangrel, encounters a young female bounty hunter, like Shard she is the victim of criminals that had taken her loved ones and driven her. Shard follows her and embracers her thinking he has found a kindred spirit to work with for all time, but Harmony as she now calls herself hates Shard for what he has done to her.

- 1880 having travelled for some years Shard is introduced to some Lancea Sanctum and takes up a position in their order.

- 1883 Now a legate Shard rushes home to warn his brothers of a brood threat only to find he is too late.

- 1883 Shard and a small band of local kindred set out to bring down the Brood and by years end all but Shard are dead. Shard returns home, depressed and melancholy he slips into torpor feeling he has failed his faith.

- 1894 Shard arises from torpor; he finds a new Lancea church in Melbourne and re-joins the faith. For a short while he is happy.

- 1913 The political manoeuvrings of the democratic socialists, from the Carthian movement show their part in the death of members of Shards parish, and the beast stirs, he hunts the enemies of the faith slipping into the role of vengeance.

- 1943 Shard awakes this time with less intact memory and struggles to make sense of his unlife again turning too his faith. - 1948 With the influx of new Kindred after the war Shard hears tales of the Brood and feels the stir of his other lives his struggle, and feeling the urgings of his predatory blood starts to hunt his old foe where ever he hears of them.

- 1960 Wins acclaim from the prince of Melbourne for his vigilance against the brood, this angers many LS who believe his taking of lives is against the faith.

- 1963 a group of Lancea mount a successful plot against Shard. The ending of this plot results in the Lancea putting Shard into torpor for his sins the idea being that he stays there til the end of days.

- 1982 The Bishopric of Melbourne in dire trouble remembers the stories of Shard’s fights against the brood and decides to reawaken Shard to be the parish’s Paladin. The bishop turns the new awaken “Monster” Shard against the enemies of the faith.

- 1998 Melbourne’s Bishop Changes. The new Bishop orders Shard to return to torpor for his sins.

- 2003 Livian Event occurs Shard is Awakened, and sent to the fight in Adelaide.

- 2013 Shard awakes again his memories perished; his main certainty is that he must hunt.
