Connie Gambrell is a goodlooking girl, though not in any way that's particularly arresting. In fact, it is the very mundanity of her prettiness that is so accessibly appealing, cutting right past defences that a more remarkable beauty is likely to trigger; with her large blue eyes, symmetrical features, soft, smiling mouth, perfectly tidy teeth, straight, acceptably long and conservatively styled dark blonde hair, and preference for simple and inexpensive dresses (and it's always dresses), she looks utterly the part of the girl next door. Everything about her is specifically unchallenging, from the shade of her hair, which has obviously never seen the touch of dye or bleach, to her height, just a smidgeon over average but not tall enough to be remotely intimidating, to her build, which is slim but not thin, and curvy but not heavy. Her attractiveness owes a great deal more to a general appearance of health (she has the flush most Kindred ascribe to mortality), an absence of recognisable flaws and an inherent friendliness and approachability than to any particularly stunning features.

Personality
Friendly, upbeat, and completely accessible, Connie Gambrell is what most people would consider "a sweetheart". She's a devout Tollisonite, and also what most people would consider "a bible-basher". She's compelling, though; there's a charisma, there, an unexpected force of personality that makes it hard to walk away when she's talking. She's the missionary who, if she showed up at your door, you would find yourself inviting inside for tea, not quite understanding how it happened. She has a soft, Louisiana drawl, and a megawatt smile, and it's a beguiling combination. She seems a little ignorant, at times, but not stupid so much as naive; her occasional comments of a startlingly racist or homophobic nature are invariably accompanied by wide-eyed conviction, sugar-sweet tones and smiles that wouldn't melt butter. If you're not Sanctified, then Connie thinks you can be saved. And she means to save you.

Connie is the childe of Woodrow, the Seneschal of Sydney, and regarded as a "daughter" in the family unit of himself and his wife, Audrey. They seem to dote on each other, much like a mortal nuclear family; Woodrow and Audrey are protective of Connie, often referring to her as "our little angel", and Connie respects and adores both her Sire and his wife.
