The Armidale City Council Environment committee serves X functions:

Objectives

• To act as Advisory in relation to activities relevant to the environment in Armidale. In particular:
  • Achieve goals in Council’s Strategic Plan for the environment.
  • Advise Council on issues relating to waste management and cost minimisation.
  • Provide networking and support to Council resources relation to implementing strategic goals and related actions.
  • Promote community education and feedback on environment issues.
