Members,
The settings team has been doing quite a lot of work to not only develop the world we will be experiencing in the new chronicle but to ensure that we are adhering as close to the chosen settings as possible.
In review of all available Tremere source material I have decided that the concept of a different Tremere non-geographic hierarchy is one that was a created by our club and, more importantly, one that will not be returning in this chronicle.
All Tremere are members of their respective geographic orders, the only exception to this being the Justicar and his Archons. That being said, the concepts of Tremere who are assigned additional responsibility relating to Security, P&R, Finance & Industry, etc, is very much represented in the source and will be used in our chronicle.
These Tremere will have additional responsibilities relating to these areas and will be expected to not only carry out the orders relating to these without any disruption to their normal duties, but to develop and grow the Tremere influence in these respective areas.
In addition, chantries that are set up and designed to address areas within the non-geographic specialties are not only possible but represented in the source material. A chantry can be a P&R chantry. This does not mean it is outside the geographic orders, but that it is designed and staffed with a specific purpose in mind.
I wanted to disseminate this information as soon as possible so that members did not spend undue time developing concepts that would not ultimately be supported. I understand that If you have questions, please feel free to reply to this thread or send them directly to this address.
