Appearance

Derek generally tries to dress up a bit - a shirt and tie may be involved, but in lieu of a jacket-coat, he tends to wear overcoats, trenchcoats or a denim jacket. After all, he wants people to know that he is, at the heart of it all, a Brujah; and that means no suits.
Since being acknowledged as an Ancilla, he has been seen with a pipe, for some reason.

Personality

Derek is an affable sort, a saner foil to his wife, the Lady Twilight.
He tends to face most situations with a smile and a thinly veiled quip - the world could end at any minute, why not laugh about it.

Personal Information - Before Embrace

A reporter in Sydney during the 1850s, Derek became curious about the myth of the mysterious bushranger, Lady Twilight.
She caught wind of this and embraced him as someone who could ensure the publication of her message in Sydney.
