Derek generally tries to dress up a bit - a shirt and tie may be involved, but in lieu of a jacket-coat, he tends to wear overcoats, trenchcoats or a denim jacket.
Since being acknowledged as an Ancilla, he has been seen with a pipe, for some reason.

Derek is an affable sort, a saner foil to his wife, the Lady Twilight. He tends to face most situations with a smile and a thinly veiled quip - the world could end at any minute, why not laugh about it.
