A wise old Death mage from the ranks of the Ascend.

Born: 1910

Age: 103

Apparent Age: Late 60's

Rank: нет! None of your business мальчик.

Titles/Memberships: Cardinal of the Vox Draconis.

Various nicknames and aliases: тень коготь (Shadow Claw) (1929-1952), Бездушный волк (The Soulless Wolf) (1953 - 1956), Jereld (1997 - Present)

Physical description: An old man that appears to be in his late 60's. He has shadowy blue eyes, that tear apart the soul of anyone he wish with mere glances. He has no hair at all on his body. To continue this, he is completely bold, has no facial hair, eye brows or eye lashes. He also no hair on his limbs, or anywhere else. However, this is merely speculation as Jereld often wears a long black trench coat and occasionally conceals his face with a hood.

Nimbus: Perhaps his previous pseudonyms were more fitting of Jereld. When Jereld casts vulgar magic the howl of the wolf pierces the ears of those around him. His body becomes one with his Nimbus and his face appears to mutate to that of a ghastly black Russian wolf. If visible his hands and feet appear to change into the claws of a black half human - half wolf form. Finally, in the same radius as the screech, everything goes cold and if water is present, it freezes.

An alternate form of his Nimbus occurs when Jereld uses offensive spells. Instead of he, himself, mutating into the wolf. A banshee of a black Russian wolf rises from the ground and follows out the intention of the spell, by hunting down the target.

Recent events

2013

  • Almost became a zombie by magical fungus that is neither living nor matter.
  • Found a 'mirror' that exists outside of reality, entered a pocket of void in which does not react to any arcana.
    • The concepts of reality, or space and time, do not seem to apply to this void, even in the non magical sense.
    • Appears differently every time you enter.
    • If foreign matter is left in the void it is destroyed when the reality resets.
    • If magic, such as Time, is used sympathetically on the foreign matter to observe it's recent past, the caster is sent deep into the 'Abyss'.
    • When entering the reality you observe yourself leave the reality. Because the timeless time you spent in the other reality never existed.
    • Entering the other reality makes Abyssal "bees" interested in you and they eat at your past reality.
  • Conducted extended research into the Abyss.
  • Received a text message from Infinite Recursion Error
  • Continued researching the Abyss and Supernal Realms.
  • Played a game of poker with three men with pointy ears.
    • Won some magical cider, a banana, and a key of some sort.
  • All the hair on his body mysteriously disappeared and wont grow back, particularly odd as he was a pretty hairy man prior to this.
  • Discovered why Seeker7 was murdered by the Age of Reason.
  • Conducted extensive research into the concilium history.
  • Entered a dreamscape with a selection of other Australian Mages.
  • Became the Leader of the Silver Ladder for 2013/2014.

Quotes

"I'm observing him, and I am mildly concerned with what I see." - Carter

"Mage 'Jereld' is a practising death mage of the 'lead coin'. He is knowlegeable on topics including-but-not-limited-to alcohol, physics, concillium mages of Armidale and 'the abyss'." Infinite Recursion Error

Quotes by

"Da!"

"You're so stupid!"

"Muahahahaha! Thank you for helping me establish immortality, a necessary step to achieving Arch-mastery! Now, I'm going to kill you, then you and then you and you.... And you, you're not worth killing, I'm just gonna piss on your family!" - After the removal of his soul, his execution and his cremation.

Rumours

  • Some believe he's gone mad, as they haven't seen him in months. They're probably right.
  • Imagine evil. Now pretend it was imagining evil, and you'll be able to describe Jereld.
  • May be the cause of the war between the Age of Reason and the Armidale Concilium.
  • His ambition is, and always will be, his greatest downfall.
