Personal Information

Appearance

Dark haired, slender - she is small but not excessively so and her stature does not evoke diffidence or frailty. Instead her limbs are defined by lithe muscle and tensed as if ready to lash out. Her mouth is often pursed as if holding back a sneer (or perhaps the desire to sink her fangs into your neck) and at its corners one might catch the trace of a dark ichor. She wears the pelt of an animal, freshly skinned, across her back, its blood smeared across her narrow shoulders. In addition to this she often wears traditional Alaskan clothing – unable to completely abandon her heritage. She mimics particularities of Nosferatu brethren – a necklace fashioned out of bones picked clean, the pungent aroma of death and decay wafting around her at all times.

Personality

She is bestial, perpetually ravenous and on the brink of madness - often growling and baring her teeth like a rabid animal.

Timeline

1924

12 January – Born in Aniak, Alaska to Mato-nazin (father) and Kirima (mother).

1937

March – Manifestation of strange sickness in Aniak - Symptoms are disorientation and severe fatigue.
October – Father (Mato-nazin) dies from mysterious illness.
November – Sickness disappears as inexplicably as it arose.

1939

Mother (Kirima) remarries.
Kohana and her mother argue frequently about her reluctance to take a husband.

1941

2 August – Mother (Kirima) gives birth to Akna (younger sister).
Tensions between Kohana and her mother intensify especially with America's involvement with the war.

1942

July – Mysterious sickness returns.
August – While out hunting ptarmigan, Kohana happens upon a foreign woman stalking around the outskirts of Aniak. She is instantly enamoured with her. The foreign woman speaks with her - marvelling at her fine hunting and tracking skill, asking her strange questions about her village - but tells her very little in return. Kohana tells no one of the encounter.
September – Sickness continues - claims two lives. Kohana continues to meet the woman in secret. Their relationship blossoms beyond friendship.
Kohana becomes estranged from her family - sleeping at odd hours and inexplicably doing things that she would not normally do. The foreigner convinces her to keep their tryst a secret.
December – The foreigner starts feeding Kohana her blood, claiming it is part of an age old tradition of her heritage.
Kohana struggles with her growing appetite for vitae.

1943

11 January – Embraced by the foreigner.
January – Kohana violently rejects this new form, knowing she has been used, and links this new unlife to the death of her father at a similar beast. She frenzies and attacks her sire - assuming to have mortally wounded her.
February – Leaves Aniak.

1943 - 1950

March – Hungry and mad without the guidance of a sire, she relies on the most primal of instincts - hunting and killing humans for food whom are lost in the Alaskan wilderness. Time, for the most part, passes as a blur.

1948

July – She eventually travels north to Canada where she meets a Dahlia, the bored eldest daughter of an Australian immigrant, and embraces her in the heat of carnal passion.
Although a mistake, Kohana accepts responsibility of her new childe, not wanting to abandon her like she had been. However Dahlia is unreceptive to her new unlife and speaks frequently of her forfeit mortal life. Kohana remains dissatisfied, restless and hungry.
October Stakes Dahlia and heads south without her.

1951

Comes across Mr Hobbes who had been lairing in the woods near a logging camp. They have an epic battle, each trading advantage. Before one or another can finish, the loggers come across the pair and while Kohana and Mr Hobbes dispatch of them, they realise a kindred spirit amongst them.

1951-1975

Stays with Mr Hobbes for some time, moving around America. He attempts to impart his knowledge of the Ordo Dracul, seeing in her a beast that once almost consumed him. She is, for the most part, uninterested.

1975

JulyMr Hobbes speaks of his intention to leave for Australia. Kohana - desperate not to leave her home behind - begs him not to leave. They have a terrible fight one night and this time he bests her easily - it is not this that finally makes him leave, rather this which makes her not leave with him. They part ways.

1975-1986

Kohana stays in America until this time; her beast reigning unchecked. She also has a brief encounter with Cazador (whom she will later discover to be Mr Hobbes's Grandchilde).
She does not assimilate into society and when she must interact with humans she poses as a reclusive hunter. However with time she becomes sloppy with the serial murders she leaves in her wake. Her crimes eventually catch up with her though and she flees to Australia in search of Mr Hobbes in hopes that he would teach her that which she denied so many decades ago.

1986

March – Arrives in Australia. She reunites with Mr Hobbes and joins his coterie amongst the other Nosferateu.
August – Discovers she has a grandchilde (Jericho). She outright shuns him initially but at the insistence of The Clan gradually comes to accept him as her burden.

2001

Joins the Ordo Dracul as a slave under Mr Hobbes.

2002

Becomes Gangrel Priscus.

2013

October After more than a decade of disinterested engagement with the Ordo Dracul, she leaves abruptly, and publicly announces her devotion to the Circle of the Crone.

I'll never hear a word you say
Promised I would find a little solace
And some peace of mind
Whatever just as long as I don't feel so
Desperate and ravenous"
