Mortal Life

In mortal life her married name was Ana Clarke, Lolitochka (Lola) Rostov is a through back to her Russian heritage. Rostov was the area in Russian that her family ruled over and Konstantin the progenitor of the Yagnatia was a Prince of Rostov. Lola’s mortal family fled firstly to United Kingdom 1918 with the death of Nicholas II the later migrated to the USA in 1919. Lola’s family was constantly somewhat on the outer of “Russian Society” for having “pagan beliefs”. Lola was born on American soil. Lola held these “pagan beliefs” close to her heart, her family for many years never openly practised them but these beliefs were the catalyst for family fleeing the motherland.

In Lola’s mortal life it was post-word war II, when the cold war was really starting to warm up there was a fear of “the reds under the bed” she was being sunned for her Russian heritage. Her family due their displaced nobility never truly assimilated into the Russian pocket society in the USA, many of the Russian’s were happy that there were no longer under the oppression of the Tsar’s. So she was shunned within her on community and Russians as a whole were despised in the States. As direct result of this social marginalisation Lola was forced to marry an abusive man. The abuse escalated when the couple found out that they could not have children. In a fit of rage Lola’s husband pulled her down by her hair and seared her face with an iron. From that moment on she was marked, scared mentally and her desire for revenge and children increased.

When she was embraced Lola was taken into the Invictus for her exceptional knowledge and respect for etiquette. She proved to be an exceptional member of the First Estate and in her relatively short time among them ascended to the rank of Marquies by earning a permanent seat on the inner council of Brisbane.
