Personal Information

Mr. Masari is a recent member of the Freehold of Hidden Treasures, having only escaped from Arcadia and subsequently joined the freehold near the start of 2014. Occultist and talented in Oneiromancy, Masari encompasses the virtues of Autumn strongly, searching out mysteries of the occult and Wyrd more than commonly practiced by the rest of the freehold. A performing magician before being taken, he continues his craft by regularly busking in Rundle Mall.

Appearance

Mask: Mr Masari is a slender man in his mid 20's with a slightly pointed face. Well dressed in primarily black and white, he has black hair and a neatly trimmed short beard. His defining attire is a long coat and trilby hat among friends, but while busking he commonly wears a two-piece suit and top hat as a "Gentleman Magician."

Mien: His features within his Mein are far more pronounced than his mask. His hands are unnaturally long and thin, his face elongated and tall, and he is even more monochromatic, with sharp black and whites. Similar to the stereotypical "grey" alien.

Mantle: Masari's autumn mantle has an air of mystery around him. A touch of mist as he steps, a cool unexpected breeze, little things here and there that are just noticeable enough to wonder if it was there at all.

Personality

Masari is often calm and poised, he is a performer and has a knack for keeping his cool (or at least appearing to) at even the worst of times. As a performer, Masari is used to having a controlled appearance and demeanor. He is often found fiddling with things, he spins his wand, or practices vanishing a coin or other paraphernalia, his hands are often doing something, whether you realize it or not. He loves mysteries and exploring them, delving where others cannot hope to understand.

Mortal World

Little is known about the figure Mr Masari, other than he is a skilled, well-dressed Magician who often busks in Rundle Mall. He has little presence within the mortal world as shortly after his escape, Masari realized he could not remember many details of his past life. Even his name, Mr Masari is simply one of many monikers he used in his previous life as a performing magician.

Arcadia

Masari was taken by the Gentry colloquially was called the Word Chameleon. He had borrowed a book from the Library, and as he passed a Hedge Gate, words slithered from the book and pulled him into Arcadia. Masari remembers little of his time spent with the Chameleon, although he knows he was used as a spy. He also now knows that his mind was connected to one of the Chameleon's Loyalists in order to grant Masari occult skills he would need, as well as a secret way to spy on the Freehold of Adelaide. At some point Masari was traded or given to the Unhallowed Kami, further planning to arrange Masari's escape from the Kami along with Michael Black and Frost.

Escape

Mr Masari recalls a battle between two titanic beings, one a giant of swords, and the other a giant of words. During this battle, his cage was unlocked and he with two others fled with the titanic battle echoing behind them. The three of them erupted from a Hedge Gate, right into a gathering of the Freehold of Hidden Treasures.

Recent History

Since his escape from Arcadia, Mr. Masari has done a lot of work for the Freehold, progressing swiftly and working hard to become a reliable and respected Monarch of Autumn.

Other Facts

• It is relatively common knowledge to those in the Freehold that Mr. Masari meets with a Banished known as the Elder on a regular basis, in order to renew a pledge that will destroy any title the Elder takes.
