The Orchard was established in April 2015 to address the need for safety among the Adelaide mages, as well as the lack of any kind of logistical or intelligence system. Five mages, [[Andromeda]], [[Duke]], [[Cadence]], [[Vivi]] and [[Hermes]] gathered and agreed to fulfil these needs together, forming the initial membership of the cabal.
