Appearance

Real Age: 19th Century Apparent Age: Early-Mid 20s

Llewellyn appears as a dark, serious, and confident kindred. He appears to be around 22 years of age with dark hair and black tattered clothes adorned with crow feathers. Contrasting this is silver circlets, bracelets and necklaces with traditional celtic symbols.

What is commonly known

Llewellyn is an older Ancillae or young elder kindred, and member of a strange House, bizarre gaelic worshippers of the Goddess Morrigan.

At first he was unaligned, a cartographer of dark places beyond the settlements and colonies of Western Australia. Soon a powerful kindred called Marius arrived in Perth and the Ordo Dracul had come to dominate the city under his leadership. Llewellyn was thus made an offer by Marius that he couldn’t refuse. Llewellyn joined the Ordo Dracul, and has been a member ever since.

Llewellyn’s religious practices were tolerated by the Dragons who saw an alliance with the Crone at that time as advantageous. The early Lancea Sanctum of Perth had been Westminster Creed, and most were focused on stamping out the Aboriginal superstitions than on the Celtic practices of old.

Marius's fall from grace came as a complete surprise to Llewellyn, having no forewarning either of Marius’s overreach or the response by the other elders at conclave. While his age and skills had made him a middle-ranked kindred in the city, he’d always been on the outer. All of a sudden the academy was expelled, his blood family and many other kindred were forced into a nomadic existence. As a result, Llewellyn was suddenly a powerful nomadic leader, respected for his experience in the vast and unforgiving Western Australian expanse.

With the House elder entering torpor, however, and his childer growing in strength and competence, he decided to increase the range of his travels to the lands of the East. His intent for being in Canberra however, is not yet clear.

Timeline

1871 – Kindred remember him to be a vampire Gangrel

1917 – Enters torpor

1938 – Awakens from torpor, joins the Ordo Dracul as a scout for Wyrm’s Nests

1962 – Officially becomes a Nomad, sometime after Marius’ fall from power

1972 – Discovers a newly embraced member of the House in Margaret River, and sees her as his new spiritual guide

1985 – Embraces

1989 ¬– Discover’s a body in Torpor he believes to be his sire. Inters it with the House, decides to seek out other descendants of House Morrigan and reconstitute the family

1992 – Locates other Morrigan's

2005 – Meets Kohana at an Ordo Dracul meeting. She is impressed by Llewellyn’s hunting.

2006 - Llewellyn decides to temporarily leave his family in Western Australia and journey eastward to Canberra.

Chronicles Chronicle

15 June 2013 - Chronicle begins. Llewellyn consolidates his position as the Gangrel Priscus.

29 June 2013 - After making a long journey back to Perth, Llewellyn visited his House, childer and Regent Maeve. Maeve hosted a great ritual in honour of Mother Morrigan. When he left the encounter and journeyed back to Canberra with a sense of great determination and purpose.

20 July 2013 - A night of high drama, is approached by a powerful stranger who makes deal, and levels a threat. Later in court he has a major confrontation with Doubting Thomas that very nearly ended in bloodshed. By the end of night,Tiberius had been overthrown, and the new prince Isaac names Llewellyn as his new Sheriff in his very first announcement.

21 December 2013 - With a revolving door of praxis and violence, with Isaac Winters, Kaida, and then back to Isaac a peculiar and dramatic event happened the night of the Prince's Christmas party. For reasons that are not entirely clear, Prince Isaac raised Llewellyn in status and then bloodhunted him. Llewellyn escaped while Lady Jessica of the Invictus claimed praxis. Llewellyn was last seen escaping into werewolf territory, while Lady Jessica rescinded the hunt.

Personality

Llewellyn often surprises when he speaks. He looks like someone who has lost all touch with the world, and yet he speaks with a down-to-earth practicality with a matter-of-fact, 'don't push me' attitude. He is thought to be fair in his dealings, candid in his thoughts, and not at all idle in his threats.

Most younger kindred tend to see him as a 'big brother' figure, in a savage damnable kind of way. He seldom intervenes directly in politics, but when he does it is obvious that he means what he says, and isn't very open to negotiation. Most of the time he just tries to lead by example, giving advice to kindred when sought, and looking after those who are too weak, or too stupid, to look after themselves.

Despite his protective mentality, however, he's a bit of a loner out east; dedicated as he is to his personal spiritual journey.
