Canberra Timeline

• 1914: First Silver Ladder Mage arrives in City
• 1931: Enough mages have arrived to form a proper Concillium to be formed.
• 1949: Banishers suddenly arrive in force and start a war against the Concillium.
• 1952: Banishers have either killed any mage who hasn’t fled or taken extreme measures to hide themselves.
• 1983: An attempt is made to reclaim the city from Banishers, while damage is done they manage to hold the city.
• 2004: No word from the Banishers for over two decades, Mages start to return to the city after failing to find any with remote means. Most are assassinated within the year, the rest find ways to remain in the city by being very cautious about using their magic and hiding themselves among plain sleepers.

Locations of Interest

Capitol Hill

Capitol Hill is completley controlled and monitored by the Banishers of the city.
No one knows where exactly their base of operations is located, but given how quickly they respond to any supernatural activity in this area, many suspect it is nearby.

Location: 76 Fitchett St Garran
What happened: PC's had regular monthly meeting. Found out about a Cult of the Protector, and that some gang members were being killed in unusual ways.
After some investigation they found the cult did have supernatural backing of some sort, but were unable to determine exactly what.
The meeting with the prophet of the cult didn't lead to much, as he himself wasn't much of a beliver, but seemed to be marked with a great fate.
They then joined the cult to investigate it futher.
Their investigations into the murders were a lot more straight forward, and they quickly determined that the killlings were being done by a
young man who had managed to get his hands on a magic spear.
Instead of confronting the guy, they instead stole the spear by stealth and snuck off with it.

Premise: First Game - Gathering of character
What happened: Characters met to discuss how they would all work in the city. None felt it was time to act out against the Banishers, so instead just organised themselves into cabals.
Fixer took it upon himself to become the Herald of the group to make sure people were organised and things got done.
Characters then found out about a few unusual deaths that had happened, where the muscles and internal organs had turned into jelly.
After much work the group was able to trace it back to the source, an old harvest spirit that had followed an immigration family over to Australia.
No longer getting its seasonal offerings, it was instead taking what it required. The characters decided to sneak into the field at night and bind the spirit.
