Though horrors occasionally wander inside the city, Armidale itself is generally safe. Once you venture outside the lights of the city however, all manner of strange and dangerous things lurk in the dark. Outside the city what you don't know can kill you. Inside the city well...what you THINK you know will kill you. There are too many things off in Armidale. Mysteries seem to flock to the city, and with them, mages seeking power.
