Physical description: With platinum blonde hair with pink and purple streaks, Usagi is very much into the modern hipster aesthetic. With a bubbly personality and a keen desire to find the joy in everything, you could almost swear she smells like sunshine and rainbows on a dewy morning.

Nimbus: Colours become more vibrant and lines between objects darken, almost as though the world looked drawn. The closer someone is to the epicentre the more this becomes apparent.

Awakened: September 2015, Adelaide

History: Born to Australian migrants, Usagi grew up with the best parts of Spanish culture, British culture, and Australian culture all mish mashed together. One ritual habit every morning was watching the morning cartoon lineup, her waiting more expectantly for Sailor Moon while her sister waited eagerly for Scooby Doo and her brother for Dragon Ball Z. Usagi grew up with a love for life and nature, often spending time hanging around with local animals and hiding out in the parks around Melbourne. As a child she was always happy and tried to do her best to everyone else, even if it meant sacrificing the things she wanted for herself: the betterment of all is better than the betterment of herself. As a child this did mean she would be bullied out of her own things, but she didn't really mind because if they wanted what she had so much it clearly meant they needed it more than her. Growing up she was a huge animal rights activist to the best of her ability. Kyubey, if asked, goes into great length about "that one time she set free the neighbour's dog because it was always chained up out the back, where it then chased her for 3 hours". Usagi maintains she did what was best for that dog.

Growing up the family became more and more unsettled as the rift between her sister, brother, and parents grew larger and larger. By the time she was 10, Usagi was the only thing keeping the family stable in their collective love for her. Knowing she was the only true reason for the family not falling apart at such a young age, Usagi began to feel the effects of depression. Consciously, she decided to do her best to keep the family together and put herself on the backburner to do things to keep the family stable. At the age of fifteen, Kyubey finally had a large spat with Mamá that caused her to walk out of the house and move to Adelaide. Trying to keep the family together, knowing that all contact would be stopped with her otherwise, Usagi ran after her sister and moved to Adelaide with her. On quiet nights when she is home alone Usagi sits and remembers the times when she was a young child and the family was happy.

Finishing highschool in the Northern Suburbs, Kyubey and Usagi moved around to a few different places around Adelaide before finally settling in the top floor of an apartment in Islington a few months before their awakening. Together they got a beautiful black cat from a shelter which was named Loki. Being on the top floor the girls were tasked with attending to the roof garden of the apartment, Usagi took to this very well and attends to it every day without fail. The plants range from all sorts of flowering plants to various herbs and spices for cooking.

The sister's awakening was a very odd affair: Kyubey, wanting to investigate the Adelaide Gaol for her ghost hunting web series, wa sunable to get her usual camera operator, and so bribed Usagi to help by saying she'd buy a lot of pizza. The girls sneak out the back and climb three stories to be on the top floor, overlooking the gallows. Here they see a number of the Adelaide Pentacle Mages cast magic, at which point a handy gust of wind picked up Kyubey and threw her down the recently opened chute. Usagi, panicking that her sister may be dead, rushes down to attend to her and sees her sister with an almost completely broken neck. Her first aid is sent down the chute after her by Gabriel who ran to her car to get it. Kyubey then began awakening, got up, and began walking down the tunnel. Usagi got very offended at this and started yelling at her sister to stop moving and wait for her. The pentacle mages, knowing an awakening was happening, attemped to stop Usagi from interfering which resulted in Thanatos receiving a broken nose, Reaper a broken lip, and Gabriel and almost scratched out eye. The more Usagi looked at the problem of Kyubey and the more magic was being done around her to stop her, suddenly caused Usagi to awaken as well and began her walk along the Primal Wilds, killing a deer and ripping out it's throat with her teeth (thus hugging her sister and kissing her neck, which then snapped back into place fully healed). Usagi made her way to the Watchtower of the Stone Book, climbed the thorned exterior, and signed her name with menstrual blood: thus awakening as a Thyrsus.

Over time she grew close to Gabriel, feeling especially sorry for nearly blinding him. The more time she spent with him the more she grew attached to him, developing a crush on him. Eventually, on what would technically constitute as the pair's 3rd date before they really agreed on dating, the pair finally admitted their feelings for each other and moved to having a full relationship together. All references around Duke makes her explain in disgust, Usagi rather enjoys seeing Duke's disgust at this and loves intentionally doing couple-y things at meetings on occasion to annoy her.

Recent events

2015

• September - Awakened with her sister Kyubey after investigating the Adelaide Gaol. After watching a gust of wind throw her sister off a three story building and into a body chute, she rushes down to help. After demanding her first aid kit be given to her from her car she pursues her almost dead sister along the underground tunnels in the Gaol. Along the way she awakens into the Primal Wilds, healing her sister of a nearly broken neck, and awakening in the Stone Watchtower. She signed her name with menstrual blood and was awoken as a Thyrsus mage
• October - begins dating Gabriel and learning more about her ability with magic
• November - seeks out Mephi to join the Adamantine Arrow, believing the battlefield to be the best place for her work as a healer. She joins the arrows and fall sunder tutelage the same time as Claire who Mephi is mentoring at the same time.
• December - Usagi begins studying more about Spirits, under instruction from Dornelia with some help from Quill

Gabriel proceeds to be very alarmed and broken for the rest of the day
