In Kelvin Grove, at 73-75 Herston Rd (cnr of Gibbs St), is a new commercial/residential building, the first major project of an up-and-coming architect. Known colloquially as The Obelisk, it's a multi-storey building with a pyramidal roof. It rises 8 levels above the ground, with an underground parking garage. The ground floor contains Phillip Longfellow’s political office and a small art gallery and workspace. Above this is an architectural and engineering firm. The third floor contains four offices, with the levels above being residential. There is nothing unusual about the building as viewed from the street
OOC Magical Notes
-These cannot be used as IC knowledge, but are here for reference should they become relevant-
- Perfected Metals were used in construction, but are hidden within the walls etc. in the superstructure and should not be detectable.
- The building has been fortified with Matter magic (Alter Integrity, Transmute Earth etc.), but no active spells as such are present.
- There is a low-potency Mind Spell active on the entrances to the building, but this is the only potentially detectable magic.
- There are no Space Wards.
- There is no Hallow within.
- It sits on a Geomantic Nexus.
- It is already haunted by a single ghost.
