This page is a summary and directory for all of the characters who are members of the Daeva lineage known as the Children of the Rose.
Overview
The Children of the Rose is a Daeva family of actors, film makers, poets and other artists and creative types.
The family is named after the progenitor’s home town in Italy, Rose.
The family has a very early 20th century art-nouveau and art-deco feel. Particular focuses and themes are turn of the century Greek/Roman revival, including reverence for nature and a feeling of refined elegance.
The progenitor of the family is Paolo Justinius (Invictus NPC), embraced in southern Italy sometime in the 1700s.
While the grandsire of the family is Invictus, the biggest wing of the family is currently Crone. So it is presently a primarily Crone family with an Invictus off-shoot. In keeping with the Greek/Roman revival feel, most of the Crone worship Greek or Roman gods. And most of the Invictus are concerned with cementing rules of law and order in order to grow the Invictus empire, tending to become harpies, notaries and Judexes.
The family has a mix of bloodlines, including California Xiao, Nelapsi, Toreador and Asnam.
It’s still evolving a bit at this stage, so happy to have additions and further suggestions.
