Settlement (precolonisation - 1832)

35,000BCE - The First Australians settle Tasmania. The only supernaturals at this time are the Aboriginal Australian versions of the Paths. There are no set "Orders" in the land. 20,000BCE - The Werewolves migrate from the main land and make their way to Tasmania, noticing the nature of the Spirits in the southern land. 1642 - Dutch explorer Abel Tasman lands in Tasmania, this harkens to the European Settlement of the state. 1793 - French explorer Bruni dEntrecasteaux surveys what he calls the Riviere du Nord, meanwhile explorer John Hayes sails the river and names it the River Derwent. There is contention over who surveryed the area first. It is eventually decided that it will be known as the Derwent River. 1803 - the first European colony settles in Tasmania, creating the city of Risdon Cove. The first Kindred arrive, a single coterie of four sent by the Invictus of Europe to claim the territories for civilisation. These Kindred are all Neonates who are sent to stake out Domains of their own to rule. These Kindred Abraham Blackwell of Clan Ventrue, Louis Whitlock of Clan Mekhet, Rhea Beale of Clan Daeva, and Jewel Beckham of Clan Gangrel. No Nosferatu are sent until the land is secured to ascertain the safety of the new land for the Nosferatu Clan. 1804 - human soldiers refuse to take guard duties on the convicts for fear of uprising. Guards murder large swathes of Aboriginal Australians, many of the First Mages are lost. The Spirit balance of the settlement begins to unbalance as people abandon the area. 1805 - the humans establish the Port Dalrymple settlement along the Tamar River, with influence from the Kindred. 1805 - supply ships from Europe fail to arrive, people begin the starve. Those aware of Mages attempt to kidnap Life Mages to create food. Life Mages go into hiding to prevent a breach of the Veil. 1806 - Colonel William Patterson is stationed at York Town under the influence of Abraham Blackwell. This city eventually becomes Launceston. 1807 - Thomas Laycock travels under direction from Jewel Beckham to establish the first trail between Launceston and Risdon Cove, which later became Hobart. 1811 - Hobart begins to be constructed as a city, Rhea Beale takes the city for her Domain and becomes the first Duke in the new land. 1812 - the first convicts arrive in Tasmania. Mages are transported to the city and bring the Diamond Orders with them. Werewolves are transported for committing violent crimes in their homelands, upon arrival they begin to placate and bring balance to the Spirit in Hobart. 1814 - Aboriginal Mages hijack a cargo ship from along the Derwent River in an attempt to force the European Mages out of their homeland. 1815 - Leuitenant-Governor Thomas Davey declares Martial Law against all Bush Rangers, under the advice of Jewel Beckham. The Aboriginal Mages are destroyed. 1816 - the first free settlement ship comes from Europe, a beacon of the Silver Ladder. 1828 - the Cape Grim Massacre caused a small faction of Guardians of the Veil who murdered the final hidden group of First Mages. None of the old ways of traditional Magic exist in Tasmania anymore. Only the Diamond Way exists now. '1830 - the Port Arthur settlement is founded. 1832 - Martial Law against bushrangers is finally ended. The Guardians of the Veil have guaranteed no First Mages exist anymore.
