- To Whom it may concern:- be it an exalted prince or the most lowly neonate
- I send my compliments. If you are reading this you have had the miss-pleasure of meeting the one who calls himself “The DJ”.
- As sire of “The DJ” I Jue Wong of San Fransisco, formally scientific advisor to Emperor Guangxu, humbly, and most graciously, request your pardon. To put it simply, The DJ is a failed experiment. One doesn't like to admit to ones mistakes, and were it any other way I would have disposed of him myself, however, one has become fond of his... whimsy.
- Perhaps if I explain the difficulties involved in the experiment you can judge for yourself his worth and grant him the parole he most certainly needs.
- Scientifically speaking experimenting with neonates is inherently difficult, initially, because the indoctrination we impose on our children makes for tainted results. One could embrace them and leave them if one seeks a quick final death for both sire and child, but little would be learnt. So one has to taint the test subject with knowledge and expectations if they want to their experiment to last any reasonable length of time. So The DJ was taught just the absolute basics to allow him to exist in Kindred society before I distanced myself to observe the outcome.
- The DJ was my attempt to temper the Ventrue blood's thirst for power. Though I was successful in that regard he is hardly what I had hoped him to be. It seems that in choosing a human that was selfless, without personal desire for power, there was nothing for the ventrue blood to amplify. But in doing so it seems to have removed anything else that would mark him as ventrue. As far as I can tell his innate ability to dominate never surfaced. And yet his blood is not thin. On the contrary, his obsession with introspection and instinct seem to have thickened his blood more than one would expect in one so young.
- It may have come to your attention his excessive interest in mind altering substances. I must admit this compulsion is alien to me, and as such, is very much an unknown variable in his development. It is something I intend to examine more closely in my next subject. At this time however I have no reason to think it has any effect on his development.
- I do hope you keep The DJ around long enough to break him in. I feel that he could be trained to serve a loyal asset. If not, please consider sending him back care of San Francisco University.

He was with the Carthian Movement in the local San Francisco area, however he was never taken seriously. He was known to have ties to Archived-Vladimir, whom he met while running drugs along the west coast of the USA.

- January, moved to Brisbane Australia.
- February, stopped a local student magazine from publishing articles which violated the masquerade.
- March, wrestled a Cassowary.
- August, sponsored Archived-Franchesco Laquar bringing Synthlife into the Domain of Brisbane.
- October, was brought before the Prince and National Conclave on jump up charges and ordered to stop all association with Synthlife.
