The Alae Draconis, the Wings of the Dragon: the researchers of Awakened society, searching for hidden lore in both rare tomes and forbidden tombs.
Loremasters who hold (or seek) all the keys to all the doors, the Mysterium seek out knowledge for its own sake. The Mysterium claim to be organized from the remains of the Alae Draconis (or "Wing of the Dragon"), the researchers of magic in Atlantis. Now, they seek to reclaim the lost lore of yesteryear and to remember the lessons that the fall of the Awakened City teaches.
Athenaea
Athenaeum known by Mysterium to hold a large Library dealing with ghosts and the dead as well as an extensive Scriptorium. It is also rumored to be haunted by the ghosts of Mysterium who previously worked and studied there. An archivum censorium is rumored to exist away from the main Athenaeum but it's location, and who it's Curator is if it exists, is unknown.

Legacies
The following Mysterium Legacies are known to have members within Australia:
- Eyes of Ain Soph (Prime) - "You can only understand the nature of magic by testing its limits." - Unknown Seeker. Known as 'Seekers' members of this Legacy largely believe the knowledge of magic is inherent in the structure of magic. To this end they examine and experiment with unusual types of magic and other occult phenomena. They have a reputation amongst some of the Awakened as meddlers at best or holding an over-developed death wish at worst. This is due to the risks involved in some of their experiments. (The Mysterium, p.173).
- Reality Stalkers (Space) - The Reality Stalkers are mages who focus on bending and warping space and perception. A common use for their powers is to acquire lost or heavily protected items of use; however, the Stalkers are also devoted to studying the cracks in reality which their powers exploit, for some believe that within these cracks lie ancient secrets, powerful artefacts, and even a physical bridge to the Supernal Realms. (The Mysterium, p.173).
- Walker in Mists (Space) - The Walkers in Mists are an order of mages who draw their wisdom and power from the natural world around them, rather than the tomes and scrolls so beloved of their fellow Awakened. They’re masters of manipulating the continuum of nature they call the Mists to gaze upon and travel to places far removed from their own selves in the blink of an eye (Mage: the Awakening, p. 358).
- Wraith of Epochs (Time) - The Wraiths are mages who reject the modern world and eschew its technologies as distractions from the power and true ways of the Supernal and the Awakened. They have incredible power to look into and draw upon the past but lose their ability to wield the tools of the present to best effect. (The Mysterium, p.180)
