Appearance

Alder Wolfgang stands tall amongst his kindred and is usually seen wearing tactical clothing. In addition to this, Alder always wears a red bandana and hood to cover his face as well as a red armband with a symbol that few kindred know of and many fear.

Personality

Alder is quick to act but does not disregard careful and concise planning. He cares deeply for mortals seeing himself as being responsible for making their lives and strives to keep them safe from the creatures that seek to hunt them choosing to hunt these creatures as a form of revenge and redemption. Due to this Alder would be more inclined to risk his life for an innocent mortal rather than one of his kindred. As a result, Alder despises his kindred seeing them as liars and monsters. This is also due to his family's past and the cruel method of his embrace. Since his embrace, Alder prefers to help mortals in their attempts at freedom and liberation from corrupt and cruel leaders, leading to him being involved in many revolutions and wars.

Alder is known amongst mortal society as the owner of a Mercenary company, despite now one knowing what he looks like.

Timeline

• 1859:

- Born in Germany on the Outskirts of the Black Forest.

• 1914:

- Conscripted into the German army.

• 1918:

- Embraced. - Declared dead due to a forest fire that consumed his families home. - Finds his fathers diaries and notes amongst the wreckage of his family home following the fire.

• 1918-1919:

- Travels Europe whilst honing his combat skills under the direction of his fathers dairy and notes. - Understands the dangers of being a kindred amongst mortals, chooses to seek to redeem himself through aiding in protecting innocent mortals from either Kindred or other mortals that would seek to either harm them or take away their freedom. - Manages to survive due to the knowledge he learns in his fathers notes about kindred.

• 1919-1920:

- fought in the Russian revolution on the side of the White Movement the anti-communist military force opposing the Bolsheviks.

• 1920-1921:

- fought for the Ukrainian Peoples Republic against the Russian SFSR forces.

• 1921-1944:

- wandered throughout Europe protecting mortals from kindred. - Following the onset of World War 2 Alder travels to France to assist in the liberation of Paris. - Alder then travels to Warsaw to assist the Polish resistance where he meets Eryk Maksym (Matthias), and his lover Alina Danika. - Following Eryk's capture at the hands of the Nazi's Alder attempts to free him, getting captured in the process.

- Alder instigates a riot in the prison and frees Matthias. They escaped and parted ways.

• 1945:

- Alder then travels to America in search of his sire.

• 1947:

-Alder tracks down his sire to Chicago and sets out to hunt him down. - Alder meets his sire in Chicago and attempts to kill him but he himself is almost killed in the process, Anabelle Lee finds Alder and his sire fighting and helps Alder to kill their mutual enemy. - Alder kills his sire with the help of Anabelle and is taken back to her haven to recover. - Anabelle provides information to Alder about the kindred courts and the masquerade as well as the clans and covenants.

• 1948-2014:

- Alder returns to Europe and continues hunting those that assisted his sire in murdering his family. - Following killing the last kindred responsible for his family's death Alder turns his sights to hunting Kindred. - Alder finds himself in Ukraine following the Ukrainian riots and the onset of war with Russia, he assist the Ukrainian army in fighting the Russian army.

• 2014-2015:

- Alder travels to Australia in search of Matthias after hearing word that the Nazi officer that torture Alder and Matthias in prison was now search for his "disciples".

• 2015:

- Alder travels to Armidale to find that Matthias had been sentenced to torpor, questioning members of the court under the guise that he used to hunt Matthias.
