Information Known by Kindred Society

The Master of Elysium is the eyes and ears of the Prince while the Kindred are gathered in court. Although recently come to Armidale, in terms of Kindred logevity, Father Constantin has proven his wisdom on a number of occasions while settling disputes, and strangely enough, he has demonstrated remarkable compassion for a kindred, often found having a few quiet words with those who have undergone a traumatic experience. It is well known that he is not from Australia, though only those a good ear for accents can tell he is from Romania.

OOC History (for character ties)

Born as the third child of a poor farming family, Constantin had an older brother and sister, and two younger brothers. In 1830 at the age of 15, Constantin made his farewells due to the fact that his father was still struggling to feed the family even after his eldest brother left for his own farm, and his sister was married off for the bride price of a couple of head of livestock.

Constantin wandered the country for a couple of years, living hand-to-mouth, often depending on local churches and temples for sustenance and shelter during rough times. Seeing this generosity, often for nothing in return, gave Constantin a purpose, which he followed to the nearest monastery that had room for another Brother, the Tismana Monastery. This was roughly 1832.

Finding Purpose in Religion, Constantin spent the rest of his life dedicated to the monastery. In 1847, after 15 years of religious service, he was made aware of the greatest secret the monastery possessed, the existence of vampires and bloodline of the Tismanu, of which this monastery were protected by and provided care too. Upon being made aware of their existence, Constantin was made a caretaker, watching over their still bodies by day, just as they did the same for him by night.

In 1868 was given the option of joining the ranks of the Tismanu, and finally in 1870, after much deliberation, decided to accept the offer at the age of 55. After a mortal lifetime in the monastery Constantin was embraced in the Tismanu Bloodline

Following his embrace, Constantin's first task was to choose the Brother that would take his place as caretaker (Left open for possible tie).

Known Timeline

• 1946- Father Constantin arrives in Armidale, following the soldiers who were lucky enough to return home after the Second World War
• 1947- Father Constantin makes his first appearance at court, no-one knows what prompts this though speculation says an encounter with the Scourge.
• 1952- Was present at the events that sparked the Wolf War of 1952, He was called along with Joseph Killen to investigate a strange psychic link between an embraced twin and her still living sister.
• 1955- Has become an avid attendant of the weekly late night mass in the Eastern Orthodox Cathedral.
• 1960- Starts attending the local Black Mass.
• 1964- Is appointed the Master of Elysium by Prince Harold
• 1972- Is present at the cremation of the still living Alec Corwin
• 1995- Conducted his first night service in the Eastern Orthodox Cathedral, kine and kindred alike were invited.

Recent History

• 2012 - Dec: Was present when the Prince executed the traitor, and the brood were hunted down in Armidale, is still looking into the ritual that was being conducted.
• 2013 - Jun: Attended the first of many court gatherings to come, as ordered by the Prince.
• 2013 - Aug: Attempted to break up a dispute between the subordinates of Bishop Grendal and Heirophant Markus. This met with slight success.
• 2013 - Sep: Witnessed the Lance swear oath to Grendal who in turn swore oath to Prince Harold.
• 2013 - Oct: Travelled to Brisbane to attend the national Conclave. Was chosen as the representative for the Ordo Dracul.
• 2013 - Nov: After Prince Harold's disappearance, was chosen as both Master of Elysium and Dragon Primogen by Archived-Esteban Cortes, the new Prince.
• 2013 - Dec: Due to a peculiar set of circumstances, the court was transported to a shadow realm. After discovering what was going on, Father Constantin allowed the court to seek shelter in the basement of the Cathedral where he makes his haven. Only Prince Archived-Esteban Cortes and Archived-Marquerite were invited into the Haven proper, however.
• 2014 - Jan: Was late to the gathering, arriving to hear of a meeting with kidnappers being arranged in Centro, and of Grendal's disappearance.
• 2014 - Aug: Successfully recruited Archived-M to the Ordo Dracul and was appointed as her mentor.
• 2014 - Sept: Formally retired from the Position of Master of Elysium after faithfully and successfully serving for 50 years.
• 2014 - Oct: Travelled to Sydney to attend the National Conclave, handed over Covenant Head to Archived-Tybalt. Attended Brisbane court gathering, was Acklowledged as formally being a resident of the city, and Recognized for prior deeds.
