Personal Information

Appearance

Dressed in worn orange inmate overalls, Argyle is not ashamed that he was once held captive by the Ordo Dracul, to some it seems he wears the prisoners attire like a mark of pride, an open reminder, of his ordeal. His home is in the circus and as such the remainder of his attire is that of a clown, the shoes, the hair and the face.

It is said by those that knew him before his incarceration that he was a handsome man, none who see him now could ever think so, beneath his painted face he wears the scars of years of experiments by his tormentors with acid and fire, and unmentionable powers of the blood. He carries with him a well-worn oversized circus mallet, whilst this could be construed as a weapon he has only ever used it to aid in walking or to command attention of the court for his Regent or the Prince.

Personality

He is a quiet and slow speaking with an unmistakable Anglo Indian accent, he willingly offers advice or criticism and is oblivious to most petty slights, on occasion he is taken with bouts of merriment that can just as quickly melt to melancholy, if you look too deeply into his scared and burned eye it may convey a depth of sadness reserved only for those that have been dealt an ultimate betrayal, beware not to stare too long.

Mortal World

Argyle holds little interest in the mortal world it has long forgotten him, and the only ties he has are the families connected to the Circus.

31 July 1658 Born on the last day of the rule of the Fifth Emperor Shah Jahan, he was born of common soldiers of the Kshatriya (warrior) caste and was given over to Sikh gurus for training.
1667 His temple was destroyed and he was taken by Mughal soldiers to complete his training, at 15 years old would become a soldier in the ranks of Aurangzeb’s armies.
1673 Joined the ranks of the forces of Muhammad Azam Shah and served as a Mansabdar of rank 1000 and Artillery commander.
1686 Distinguished himself at the siege of Bajapur Fort and was granted the rank Amir (Mansabdar 2000) and command of a Mughal great cannon (Zafarbaksh), the following year he was present at the Siege of Golconda, its capture marking the end to all open opposition of Aurangzeb’s reign.
1693 Deepak embraced by Maharaja Jagat Nath, Elder of Clan Nosferatu of the Rakshasa bloodline.
1704 For many years he studied under his sire and other learned elders when he had gleaned what they could teach him he sought permission to travel to Europe, 20 years to the night he studied and after a further year of deliberation he was released by his sire and given his first mission.
1708 Arrived in Mecca.
1714 Arrived in Rome.
1716 Arrived in Paris.
1717 Ghouled a promising student Jean Jacques Flambeaux (Mission Successful).
1721 Arrived in London.
1728 Embraced Jean Jacques Flambeaux.
1735 Returned to India with childe.
1744 Released Jean Jacques Flambeaux.
1745 Ghouled Sikandar Singh Jerat.
1747 Embraced Sikandar Singh Jerat.
1755 Sikandar Singh Jerat betrayed the Rakshasa in the struggles against the Amara Havana and was destroyed by my own hand to save the taint of his failure.
1759 Wounded in battles against the Amara Havana and the Ananta Naga, Deepak retreats to his haven and succumbs to torpor.
1778 Awakens from torpor to find most of his bloodline has been destroyed and he is a forgotten by-line in a minor power struggle, his country has all but fallen to British rule.
1782 Using the name Argyle Saru he assumes a new identity and travels to England seeking an audience with members of the Royal Society of London (mission moderately successful).
1806 Returns to meet with members of the Royal Society of London. (Mission very successful)
1810–1819 First visit to Australia, after speaking with Joseph Banks he travelled to Australia to see the people and ascertain what connection they had to his own ancestors.
1820 Return to London.
1827 Travel to India.
1900 Present for the Unseen Pact in Canberra. Something scours the memory from his mind, the knowledge of what occurred, along with all others present is removed. He only knows that it must be upheld.
1970-1979 Disappeared from kindred society and was imprisoned deep in the Ordo Dracul dungeons.
1980 Seeks sanctuary within the circus to heal and restore his memories.
1983 Re-emergence to the Canberra court, dressed in his now familiar attire of a clown in prison overalls.
1984 Supports Sundae Rest in her claim for a Regency.
1985–2007 Retreats into Fyshwick as the City struggles to find its way - events occur as per the history of the city.
2008 Withdraws from kindred society mere months before the unwashed masses rise up to destroy the Blood Prince.
2010 Appears in Court on the arm of Sundae Rest who once again lays claim to a Regency.
