The Armidale City Council Festivals committee serves the following function:
- To plan and coordinate with community groups a program of community celebrations in Armidale.
Objectives
- Autumn Festival
- The setting of date for the annual Autumn Festival Parade.
- Organise the Autumn Festival Parade including coordination of logistics for parade.
- A Kick In The Arts
- The setting of dates for the annual Kick In The Arts Festival.
- Organise the Kick In The Arts Venues including coordination of logistics for each site.
- Organise the Kick In The Arts Guests including anything for their needs.
- General
- Organise entertainment, stalls etc for Festivals.
- Fundraising from the business community and organisations to assist with the cost of running events.
