Appearance

Atticus is neither tall nor short, standing at the average height of 5'9" and weighing around 90kg. He has short brown hair and dark brown eyes. While his choice of outfit is known to vary on occasion (depending on who or what he is pretending to be at that point in time), his signature outfit is a denim hoodie covered in a variety of patches, a band shirt (usually RATM, his favourite band), distressed skinny jeans and a well-worn pair of studded high-tops.

Personality

Aloof, flighty and dangerously irresponsible, Atticus is a rebel at heart. At times, he can get a little 'too' into the various personas and disguises he takes on, but whatever the illusion, his recklessness and self-confidence drive him. On other occasions, Atticus can be deceptively calculative and conniving as he pursues his next mark or plans his next scam.

Mortal Days

As a mortal over in Eastern Europe, Nikolai was involved in all manner of criminal activities and was your typical gopnik. After he met Darius and was exposed to the world of organised crime, he smartened up and learnt how to best harness his natural talents of charisma and manipulation. In his current life, Atticus Jones is an (allegedly) successful, young entrepreneur that runs weekly private workshops, seminars and training sessions for those who are willing to pay to learn the secret to success. On the flip side, he leads a variety of shady multi-level marketing schemes on a variety of topics (weight-loss, sole trading, tupperware, etc) to his loyal disciples.

Kindred Nights

Atticus Jones is a proud Caitiff, a staunch advocate for the values of the Anarchs and a loyal subscriber to the teachings of the legendary Anarch Idealogue, Salvador Garcia. While some complain that Atticus can be a little duplicitous at times, it's well known that he will take the time to tutor or mentor younger Anarchs and will even offer them a one-time 'Get Out of Jail Free' card for whenever they need it.

Timeline

Eastern Europe (1978 - 1999)

• 1978 - Born Nikolai Krakovyatskiy on June 12th in the town of Krakovets, near the Ukrainian-Polish border, to Rev. Anatoly Krakovyatskiy and Mila Shevchenko. Nikolai’s father was the Reverend at the local Church and his mother worked for the village council. His parents were extremely strict, which causes a lot of tension between them and Nikolai, especially once they discover that Nikolai had been in a relationship with another boy.
  

• 1993 - A few weeks before his fifteenth birthday, Nikolai leaves Krakovets for good. Using the last of his money, he buys a bus ticket and hops aboard. He soon finds himself in Berlin, where he sneaks into the Berlin Rock Festival and is introduced to his new favourite band, Rage Against The Machine.
  

• 1994 onwards - Over the next several years, Nikolai gradually turns to a life of crime, starting out with shoplifting, thievery, and other petty offences.
  

• 1997 - At 19 years old, he meets the charming, enigmatic con-artist Darius Vulpe, and his life is changed forever. Darius quickly becomes Nikolai’s mentor and the two of them travel Eastern Europe as the mentor exposes his student to the world of drug smuggling, human trafficking and arms dealing.
  

• 1999 - Two years later, their lives are shaken to the core by the events of the Week of Nightmares. Nikolai and Darius flee to the major port of Sevastopol and make contact with another of their Clan, one seeking passage to the United States. However, they are betrayed and left behind at the last minute. Left with no other choice, the two thieves trek through the southern reaches of Russia and eventually make their way to Baku. Following a series of successful scams, Darius and Nikolai stow away on a ship bound for Australia.
  

Australia (1999 - Present)

• 1999 - After several weeks at sea, the two Kindred arrive in Adelaide, South Australia.
  

• 2000 - As a reward for his continued assistance, and out of a longing for companionship, Darius gifts Nikolai with the Embrace on New Year’s Day. Darius and Nikolai meet with representatives from the Anarch Movement and quickly learn of the current situation in Adelaide. The two thieves decide to seek the protection of the sympathetic Anarch Movement and take on new identities. The Caitiff known as Atticus Jones is born.
  

• 2004 - Atticus and his Sire join the fight against the Sabbat, using their powers and trickery to aid the Anarch Movement in the struggle.
  

• 2006 - Atticus' Sire is captured by the Camarilla following their assault on Port Adelaide.
  

• 2012 - Finding himself the target of another Blood Hunt, Atticus attempts to renew his ties to the Anarch Movement, only to be denied due to his Caitiff status.
  

• 2013 - Atticus joins the other Caitiff in rallying to be granted status within the Anarch Movement and later officially joins the revolution upon meeting the new Baron, Clyde Russel.
  

• 2017 - In order to help spread the word about events in Berlin, Atticus leads a group of like-minded Anarchs seize control over a Camarilla-owned TV station and broadcast the video at 3:33 AM in the morning. The broadcast promptly experiences 'technical difficulties' as the building soon goes up in flames shortly after the video is broadcast.
  

Recent History

2021

• FEB - The Anarchs make a move on a warehouse containing one of the many Wards that have kept them trapped in the Southern suburbs. AJ spends time with a sex worker and reconnects with the Movement, eventually throwing in with the Fresh Barons of Belair and joining the Coterie.
  
• MAR - AJ participates in a raid on the Tremere Chantry to recover an occult artifact for the Ministry Baron Yasmin Mahdi. His Coterie face down illusions, mutated experiments and a terrifying creature made from living blood.
  
• APR - Atticus joins the majority of the Anarchs on a raid to rescue Andronikos from the Camarilla. He assists Jamie Render and Donnie Hawke in bringing down a Camarilla swordswoman. Later, he defended Jamie Render's act of Diablerie on the Camarilla and loudly proclaimed his intention to stand with his Coterie to bring down the Camarilla by any means possible.
  
• MAY - The Fresh Barons of Belair host a bush doof out in the scrubland near their Turf. AJ's night goes awry when he succumbs to his Beast and drains the DJ and narrowly avoids a Masquerade breach in the process by taking over as the DJ for the remainder of the set. AJ is subjected to a 'vibe check' by the rest of his Coterie which leaves him feeling conflicted and violated.
• JUNE - AJ winds up in Torpor after a night out at Westfield Marion turns into a disaster. His touchstone is kidnapped by the Nosferatu and he embarks on a mission to get him back, eventually leading to AJ making the difficult decision to feed him his vitae in order to keep him from dying.
