Appearance

Dain is a stocky young man of mixed Australian and Danish heritage. While not particularly tall at a height of 5'9", his build is a rugged one that has its fair share of scars. His most prominent features are his melancholic deep blue eyes and his square-like facial structure. He can usually be found wearing rugged, durable clothing and carrying a backpack filled with an assortment of herbs, trinkets and other useful items.

Personality

Dain can often be described as a quiet, contemplative young man and talented Ritemaster. He is always willing to help out a friend in need or go the extra mile to make someone smile or laugh. A prankster at heart, Dain has internalised the pain and trauma he has witnessed over the years into a dark sense of humour, often to cope better with frustrations, loss or pain. Loyal to a fault, Dain always puts those of his Pack before all others, even himself.

Timeline

• 1993 - Born in Riverton, South Australia on December 27th.
• 2011 - Left High School.
• 2012 - Moved to Adelaide to pursue a career at SAPOL as a Crime Scene Investigator.
• 2014 - Experienced the First Change while out on training. Left SAPOL and joined Memento Mori after his mentor revealed himself as a fellow Uratha and a member of the Lodge of the Shield.
• 2015 - Began solo work as a forensic cleaner within the Metropolitan region, cleaning up murders, suicides and unforeseen deaths.
• 2016 - Travelled up to Kapunda and discovered he could see dead people. Goes on several study trips to most of SA's haunted places.
• Late 2017 - The pack decide to take up a more nomadic lifestyle and travel around regional South Australia in search of forgotten knowledge, wild spirits and rare teachings.
• Early 2019 - After having set themselves up in the Flinders Ranges for several months, Dain comes across a lone Uratha who attacks him on sight. After a brief but intense fight, Dain decides to act in accordance with the Oath of the Moon and spare the Uratha's life. A week later, his Pack is attacked by a roaming group of Predator Kings. The battle soon turns into a bloodbath, leaving a heavily wounded Dain and a severely weakened Pack Totem trapped in a collapsed cave system as the only survivors of the attack. Several days pass before he is able to find his way out of the mountain caves. Once he emerges, he finds himself changed forever.
• Mid 2019 - Following several weeks learning from the local Spirits, Dain begins the long pilgrimage back to the safety of Adelaide. Looking to avoid further confrontations, he takes the scenic route.
