Personal Information
Eliza Montague is the Herald of the Brisbane Camarilla Court and has widespread connections in the city. Eliza was born into a wealthy family and raised in Austria. She married James Montague in 1951, who sadly passed away four years later, leaving Eliza a widow with James’ fortune.
Eliza Montague lives for drama and is always first to volunteer for an expedition, even in situations in which she is useless. Despite her pleasant demeanour, Eliza Montague is a powerful manipulator who does not take betrayal lightly. It is advised to never deceive Eliza as she can hold a grudge for a lifetime.

Private History
SPOILERS: The following information is OOC and is provided for the benefit of those looking to make character ties in backstory.
Eliza Jane Montague was born on 13 September 1929 to William and Vera Knight in Vienna, Austria, with one younger sister, Mary Knight. Eliza’s father was born into a family fortune from generations ago and, as a result, never sought work. In 1951, Eliza married James Montague, who worked in Media, and established a residence in Graz, Austria.
In 1954, at the age of 25, Eliza Montague became paralyzed from the neck down following a horse-riding accident. As a result, Eliza is wheel chair bound and requires a respirator to assist with breathing. Eliza and James’ marriage began crumbling due to grief and guilt, and they inevitably ended up resenting each other.
After the discovery of James Montague’s affair in 1955, Eliza planned and executed the murder of her husband. By poisoning his drink with arsenic, Eliza successfully pinned the murder on James’ jealous mistress. Consequently, Eliza Montague inherited James’ substantial wealth.
Despite Eliza avoiding the blame for her husband’s death, rumours caught the attention of Carrighann du Pleis, a wellborn Ventrue. After embracing and training Eliza for five years, Carrighann du Pleis released Eliza Montague into Kindred society in 1961.
In order to maintain her standing in society, Eliza Montague routinely possess a ghoul to complete her daily actions.
