Appearance
Floyd Fox (Floyd de Vaux) is 188cm tall and 105kg or dead average as he'd put it, though others would call him stocky. He maintains a fading tan though it was much darker in his mortal days and has greying dark brown hair.
Although born in the 60s, Floyd's formative years were the 70s and 80s, where he was influenced by punk and gothic/swampy dress styles. Nowadays, his preferred outfits include Anarchy styled t-shirts, dark black jeans, and Dr. Martens boots (designed for kicking heads). His signature look also includes a dark frock coat, which pays homage to his favourite musical artist, Falco.

Personality
Floyd is many things all at once, and is often described as not knowing whether he's coming or going. Perceived sometimes as a quiet thug, vocal critic, and genially insensitive he can be focused and aggressive. Enjoying a creative streak with his violence, preferring to push holes through people rather than punching holes. Beyond these descriptives of violence Floyd considers himself a caring individual finding the people at the bottom and lower middle classes of humanity to be the best bearing fruit.
Floyd cares not for the upper echelon/class of humanity, those who would consider themselves politically favoured, financially superior, or born with superiority endowed in their blood and breeding.
One of Floyd's pet hates is people referring to things as fake news, its either real or bullshit...

Mortal Days
Floyd de Vaux was born in the 7th Arrondissement of Paris out of wedlock on 15 Sept 1965. He never knew his father, but his mother loved him greatly, and considered him her 'gift from God'. Sadly, love alone wasn't enough to provide for Floyd, and he found himself growing up in the seedy French underground while his mother worked as a prostitute. As Floyd grew up, he found himself spending more and more time in the maze of tunnels, sewers, and ancient catacombs under the city.
As a teenager, Floyd's size and strength led him to become a hired thug with a feral child gang. They roamed the streets, causing chaos, until he was caught by the authorities and sent to a home for troubled children, where he used his strength and fighting skills to intimidate the other residents. At 16, he was thrown back onto the streets to fend for himself.
Unable to find his mother, Floyd moved to the UK where he worked as a bouncer for an illegal underground nightclub. He loved the the clubbing lifestyle, the music of the Sex Pistols, and the violence.
Over the years, Floyd shifted from being a bouncer to a roadie. He used his many trips to try and find his beloved mother. Finally, he found the devastating truth: she had died in 1989 of AIDS, from sharing infected needles to feed her drug addiction. In her will she'd left him with what little money she had, a dilapidated basement unit, and the knowledge that his father had been one of her clients.
In the 1990s, Floyd moved to Australia to continue his work as a roadie. He adopted the English meaning of 'de Vaux' to signal his new life.
Kindred Nights
Floyd Fox's identity as a Brujah is important to him, even though it caused a massive rift with his Sire, who joined the Camarilla several months after Floyd joined his Clan. Floyd values the freedom the Anarch Movement allows him, so he can act with speed and aggression, no pesky rules.
Timeline
- 2000 - (early Jan) Floyd is embraced during a New Years celebration at Henley Beach. Floyds sire is Michael Larson. The embrace occurs as a result of Floyd taking on a dozen armed bikies interrupt.
- 2000 - (mid Jun) Floyd joins the Anarch Movement. During his first territorial scouting mission, he discovered that his no good, shit-faced sire had become a tool of the Camarilla, turning his back on family and protecting the people in favour of his own personal position. Disgusted by this action, Floyd embarks on a mission to interfere in all things Camarilla.
- 2004 - Floyd assists in the defense of Adelaide from the marauding hordes of the Sabbat.
- 2005 - Floyd evades capture by his sire directing the capture of many Anarchs from their havens during the day.
- 2006 - Floyd endears himself with a rave crowd and first responders as he calls a comrade Rafael Caldera to halt a bad batch of party drugs from killing dozen goers.
- 2006 - Floyd returns from a mission badly beaten and missing a hand after escaping capture from a Camarilla enforcer.
- 2012 - Because of the actions of Andronikos (Andy) interfering in territorial affairs, Floyd flipped out and in the intervening melee a few cars were overturned and the Masquerade was challenged. Floyd was required to assist Andy in cleaning up his mess and the Masquerade.
- 2017 - Floyd acts as muscle to assist the Anarchs control a Camarilla-owned television station for the famous Berlin rebroadcast.
Recent History
2022
- JUN - Donnie Hawke hosts an expo at one of his meeting halls and along with John Johnson and the rest of the Barony go into the who's and what's of the Sabbat as they know it and supply some information to everyone, young and old alike about who and what they know in the Camarilla as well. During the peace Floyd orders in some takeaway food and has a drink from the delivery person. Rafael Caldera is able to identify two shovel heads tailing to delivery person for a suck and F#(k though jumps them along with Griff haul them back for interrogation. The Sabbat reveal some interesting information (even for lesser neonates) and an argument amongst the Anarchs ensues in how to deal with them. Floyd eventually raises the fact that since there is a war going on that either the young Sabbat are destroyed or boxed; guided by Lex the rest of the group decide what to do, however Floyd feels less than happy with the result.
- MAY - Floyd and the rest of the Anarchs go to a rave that is hosted by the Sabbat (members of the Path of Cathari) who Floyd has been gathering information. Using that information he is able to join the conversation to promote the position of the Anarch Movement in Adelaide, having undecided vampires join the movement. Floyd using his abilities feeds and drinks the blood of a Salubri Antitribu and Bishop (religious leader) of the city, realising her blood has something more in it to bend the wills of her kin (perhaps its extra potent). When things got really sticky with the Camarilla and Sabbat, the Anarchs didn't stick around at the rave and sved skin, rather than face. The Anarch convinced a few members of the Camarilla to come over and join them.
- APR - Floyd has decided to reveal the Meneleans to the Anarchs of Adelaide in the hope of expanding their influence and ability to break the hold of the Camarilla and Sabbat through use of Vinculum and Blood Bond.
- MAR - Returning from a hiatus with the year not rounding out the way he'd of liked it, Floyd went about looking for evils to correct and didn't have to look long. The Sabbat attacked the Rioters en masse in a Grand Massacre working to burn the event they'd staged and using mortals as blood bags openly as well shovel heads to do their dirty work. Days later Floyd investigated and found the City Gangrel hadn't left many clues to follow, however he did find a Gangrel Antitribu follower on the Path of Cathari who he dusted and talk of a bishop who might be commanding the troops in the area.
2021
- NOV - Clayton has disappeared, perhaps scared off by the interactions with the Sabbat, who came to visit en masse. Floyd and the rest of the rioters repelled the attack both in the city and on the beaches, causing much mayhem and difficulty for the Camarilla who we expect were mopping up the potential breaches in the Masquerade. Robert the ghoul has decided not to renew and feels as though his cancer is preferable than living into immortality as a ghoul. 'meh' though the silent nihilists will have to keep their eyes out.
- SEP - What is left of the crews joined together to argue over what has been happening in the city, and once again Floyd felt the fucktardary button was stuck to max. A group of Anarchs went to try and deal with Tzimisce and to no one's surprise they got fucked over as it listed a bunch of demands then mind controlled them into betraying the Movement. Honestly Floyd feels that if one or two Anarchs walked into the sunlight at the start of each month that we might stand a better chance of survival than if people tried using their brains. After this Floyd discovered the Malkavians knew that one of the Barons of Adelaide had been divulging locations of the Anarchs to the Camarilla and only after a bunch of months did she feel it was important to tell us. This resulted in us heading out, capturing said Baron and leaving a stick of wood in him till his blood bond to the Camarilla Prince wore off. Fucking useless Anarchs...!!!

- JUL - The crew met up on the BSA Beachhead to debrief and talk about Andronikos disappearance, only to have him reappear after coming to a decision with his captors, though some felt he was being a little disingenuous. After some time faffing about the group encountered a Tzimisce Vhozd who attacked Donnie and one other. After this a few Salacha appeared and attacked everyone... A group of Anarchs (led by Andronikos) headed off to talk shop with the Tzimisce, which Floyd Clayton and a few others refused to do. One does not do deals with the enemy hoping to get something unstaining out of it...
- JUN - The gathering point for the Rant (or whatever "it's" supposed to be) is the failing location of 'The Hive Investigators'. Sad stories are passed about like an infectious festering wound. Floyd easily tired of the madness and just before he considered offing himself something happened.... another Capture of Anarch... flesh, so off people went to recover it. Floyd is left by his lonesome this month and finds himself working with Bloodsuckers Anonymous during an investigation to assist in recovering another lost brother. During the extraction process a fight ensued whereby the nosferatu beat down Andronikos once more and stole him into their territory... Andronikos is once again lost. Floyd returns to his Menelean heritage.
- MAY - Clayton and Floyd attend the Fresh Barons rave, populated with kine having kindred consume drugs and alcohol, neither Nihilists did. Floyd lets slip that he returned to the Caprice Theatre to conduct an investigation only to run into a Camarilla Court scene, where Floyd was able to find out the Malkavians within the Anarch Movement are unwitting tools for the Camarilla Prince. The Anarchs did not conduct any research into the possibility and Lex childishly brushed the news off, even though she confirmed the likelihood of the reasoning. A group of rejected Nosferatu turned up to the Rave, and tried influencing Floyd to follow their instruction, whence he got angry and attacked them though their attacks nearly killed him. During his defence of Jamie he found Jamie and the rest of the party also came to his defence and drove off the Nos.
- APR - Clayton Dawson joined the Silent Nihilists after some decision making and investigation into the Coterie. Jacob feels the moniker of the group being Watchmen appeals to him. Floyd find his way into an investigation team searching the Caprice Theatre looking for Andronikos who has been abducted by the Camarilla. Floyd is suspicious because of the nature of the rescue as a sword wielding maniac killed the "apparent" Nosferatu Primogen of the Camarilla in show of the Anarchs. Floyd is shocked and dismayed by the action of Jamie Render who commits diablerie in front of all the other Anarchs during the rescue. In what Floyd regards as a gluttonous power grab for generation he has a shouting match which comes to physical and verbal blows where 80% of the Anarch court side with Floyd of Diablerie.
- MAR - Floyd is surprised by the Donnie Hawke & Jamie Render's attempt at a power grab in Adelaide by trying to convince everyone that Donnie fighting one of the Barons will immediately promote him to the position he demands. The Anarchs penetrate (using the sewers) a decaying Tremere Chantry where Floyd and two others are wayfinders as they have Unseen Sense discipline. Within the Chantry they find artefacts for analysis and a werewolf (who escaped). Dr Michelle Smythe and cohort feel they are best equipped to analyse the artefacts (A Sceptre, Wooden Ring, and a Sword?). Floyd & Leo form a coterie the 'Silent Nihilists' for mutual protection.
- FEB - Surprised the newer anarch community as being insular for no apparent reason. Floyd is amazed that influence and duty to the Anarch movement is brushed aside unless one is popular and speaks loudly. Pissed that John Johnson (an apparent person of respect) & Anya Westwood (a nobody) both speak to him as though he's a child. Anya attacks Floyd with her "magic" treating him as though he is a nobody.
