Jakob Roe

Personal Information

Jakob was born and raised in London, always intended to become the next Head of the Roe Ventrue family. The stories say that on the night where he was to take the mantle and be embraced by Grandfather, he partied and was taken by a spiteful Daeva. This Daeva disappeared and he has since become one of the more prominent faces of the Daeva Roe family.

Appearance

Jakob emphasizes his European heritage with blonde hair, blue eyes and fair skin (Striking Looks 2). Often seen with a strange mix of modern clothing, makeup and various hair styles, he is hard to miss.

Personality

Jakob would have been an excellent Ventrue, but he is truly an even better Daeva. Extravagant and charming, he frustrates those close by but many find it difficult to dislike him. Many see him as capricious and self-indulgent, which is completely accurate, but what made him the potential head of the Ventrue Roe was his business ability and social ability.

Mortal World

Jakob originated in Europe and still has ties to the Family and Underworld there, but came to Australia to expand his Underworld influence. Often found in clubs, bars and places where he can enjoy his hedonistic lifestyle, he will take mortals, ghouls and vamps along with him for the ride of death, life and pleasure.

Information Known by Kindred Society

Too charismatic for his own good, he runs the local Underworld scene with an iron grip. The last time a local leader raised their hand against him, the person was removed from society. When they returned they weren't the same, praising the very ground he walked on, craving for him. He lets his feelings run rampant, wanting the joy and pleasure of others and to experience it vicariously.

Jakob has a long-standing frenemy relationship with Ozymandias of the Carthian Movement. For years the two struggled against each other in the club scene, escalating to the point of bombing each others clubs, killing the others people. After years of the changing tides of power, the two came to a begrudging mutual respect and a pact to cease the destruction that helped neither. Since this, Jakob has taunted "Ozy" in public, while Ozy teases Jakob over his education. However in the past, when another gang moved in to start problems for Ozy, Jakob has put them down without his knowledge. For Ozy is his friend and his prey alone.

Extremely close to the Ghouls of Perth, no one is sure exactly what he has or hasn't done with them. All that is known is that Victor doesn't allow Meredith to be alone with him.

Status

Jakob is Acknowledged in the City of Perth and has been for years, renewing his Status whenever he returns from Europe. Showing too much disrespect for others and standing, he remains only Acknowledged within the Invictus. If he should ever start displaying his manners properly he would easily rise, but Jakob does not wish for those shackles. Among the Daeva he is Recognised in multiple countries for his part in promoting hedonism and protecting Daeva.
