While less egocentric than the rest of his family, Magnus has excelled at research of the occult during his time inside the Mysterium. His lack of confidence is his major downfall and one of the reasons he hasn't climbed the hierarchy inside the Mysterium. Unless a confrontation is on his terms he has shy'd away from most political conflict.
