Odin used to appears aloof, concerned but distant, as though he's looking past everyday events and trying to figure out the bigger picture behind them. Personality Odin used to appears aloof, concerned but distant, as though he's looking past everyday events and trying to figure out the bigger picture behind them. Every day life at the theatre has changed him for the better. He's a people person, always trying to figure out the best solution to the problem at hand. He shoulders responsibility easily, as if any challenge he faces paled in comparison to what came before. Odin is utterly pragmatic in his efforts, not caring about how someone feels about his methods if it gets the job done.

He doesn't suffer fools gladly, but has great respect for laws and pledges. He believes in acting calmly and dispassionately, aware of precedents and consequences of an edict as Monarch. He aims to be the consummate judge, and is prepared to appoint another individual in his place if he believes his judgement is compromised.

Away from official duties he is warm, perhaps even rowdy at times, ready to drink and make merry but still on the lookout for hidden threats. He will not inebriate himself except when protected by the security of his motley. Odin values the opinions of his motley greatly. He's well aware of the paranoia that creeps in without them.

Known History

Odin appeared shortly after the Armidale nuclear reactor was constructed. He is thought to have created Armidale's Dusk court, where he still rules as a Lord. He believes he was only released from Arcadia because the end of the world is coming, but he's going to do all he can to fight it, to live well, and to show that while all may be lost, his enemies will pay in blood for every step they take into his territory,

Timeline

Arcadia

As a father of four, Henry loved his wife and children. Never knowing anything about the supernatural, he could have never seen his abduction coming. The stars above his family home changed on night. Coming home from work at the factory, he stopped to look at the strange sight. His keeper, an immense celestial dragon with skin made of stars, carried him off to Arcadia.

He was made to play the role of various father-figure gods in different pantheons, specifically relating to the end of the world. Each time the gods would fail and be murdered, one by one. Each time all their efforts would be in vain, turning to dust.

Escape

One day, the sky was black, there were no stars. Fenrir had killed Odin and eaten the sun. Lying on the ground and apparently unharmed, Henry, still imbued with the essence of Odin, could see no trace of the celestial dragon. He ran from Arcadia and kept running.

Recent Events

Odin has kept the Dusk/Dawn court stable for a number of years, with his wise judgements and capable hands. In an effort to stop the paranoia, Odin offered the seasonal court survivors half of the freehold. By sharing everything they had, the transitional court ensured that the seasonals would have to abide by the laws of the freehold even if they also ruled it, thus preserving the security of only freehold in Armidale.

Asatru Motley

In an alliance with 'Low-key' - because Odin believes they share a common past, and their destinies are interlinked, for good or ill. Now the Asatru motley applies to all of the transitional court, binding them as one family and half of the Freehold.
