Personality

The twins are loving - towards each other at least. They seem to be in constant physical contact with each other, and seem to be a bit too loving. They have a fondness for gore, vicissitude and bondage, and seem to be a little bit messed in the head. Whilst it is always obvious which twin is Matthias and which is Petra, it is never obvious who was originally Matthias or Petra. Since their reunion many years ago they have been rather inseparable despite their separate clans. They are devoted to the sabbat, particularly since it allows them to live together forever as the monsters Caine intended them to be. Petra appears to be the more Dominant of the two (Whichever twin is being her at the time) and Matthias has a lovely fondness for Vicissitude, and loves to give living presents to those he thinks deserves them.

Mortal World

The twins don't know much about their origins; who their birth parents are, who they were before all of this, but they do know that as infants they were put up for adoption. Why? Perhaps the mother died. Perhaps they were forced to give them up. Perhaps a pair of squalling babies were too much for them to handle. Whatever the case, as infants they were placed into the adoption system. Bouncing from foster care home to foster care home, Matthias was eventually adopted out at the age of three to a couple in a small country town. Petra was on her own, and she cites this as being the reason she is the woman she is today. Even after many years the twins spent desperate, they still remembered each other. During their mid 20's they were each embraced at opposite ends of the country by different clans, and initiated into the sabbat. Through miraculous happenstance about 10 years ago they met each other again, and vowed to never be apart. The rest.... is history.
